If cloning was legal . . .

I think they had all sorts of big plans for Roger but they could never convince him to run for office. The support was there and I think he could have had a successful career in politics had he chosen to.

It has been awhile since all that happened; it was right after Roger retired from the Cowboys. My older brother had unrelated business dealings with a couple of the people that were in that group but he wasn't directly involved. They got another candidate (I think it was Phil Gramm but that may not be right) that they supported after Staubach turned them down.
Yep, all that seems to ring a bell of memory.

I have no idea what his political stances are but it would be hard for me not to support him. He's still my all time favorite athelte.

If cloning were legal......

I'd clone both of them, and let'em fight it out in camp.

Roger, Troy needs a team around him to be succesful, and we all heard about those head problems:D

Uh, if you remember, Roger also retired early due to concussions.

But I'd rather clone Roger than Troy, and while we are at it, Randy White, Too
Tall, Drew Pearson, Tony D, Cliff Harris, Erik Williams, geez, I could go on and on...

That would be some battle... and one I could see tear the fandom apart. kinda like the chutch/quincy debates but on a whole new level.

A whole new level is an understatement.

Chutch/Quincy= Fighting over who is the best of the worst.

Staubach/Aikman= Fighting over who is the best of the best.

A dilemna I could live with.
