There's reasons for all of thatThe defense began to struggle when Dak came back, but the offense (passing game) began to flourish. The Cowboys became the highest scoring offense in the league when Dak returned. We had very little passing game under Cooper Rush and we weren’t scoring many points. However, our running game fizzled out when Dak returned.
I mean Cooper rush he's not a starter and there's no way long term he's going to be any good as long term player..
however, yes the defense started struggling because we lost players when Hankins got hurt when both brown and Lewis was lost for the season, there was big holes and they started not playing very well even the special teams a Turpin was taking balls out he shouldn't have, he was fumbling or at least muffing some of the opportunities.. yes things change we needed to score more points and Cooper rush can't do that but also remember Terrence Steele went out we also had to lose TylerB and the left guard was in and out it was shuffling all over the place..
so yeah we had a four-game stretch with Cooper rush that we couldn't have played better as a team across the board elite ball however after the injuries and the shuffling and all that Prescott once again like Tony Romo had to come in and score a lot of points and move the ball and be one-dimensional to win games.
