If Dak bombs another game do you want to see Rush/Lance?

Those who do wanted to see the backup before the first game. The reality is Dak is the QB and will remain the QB as long as he’s healthy.
Clock is ticking on Dak.

Contract expires 2024.

Maybe sooner with a little Post June 1 Cut magic.

I bet Lance already has Big Mikes coloring Play book memorized.

I'd rather see defensive changes....What is any other quarterback we have gonna do??? Rush will beat the sorry teams. Dak already doing that. Lance isn't ready yet..IMHO... So, I quess that'll be a "no" from me right now. Let's see what happens coming out the bye.

Big Mike's play book only has 3 plays so memorizing it should be easy.....

There's absolutely no point in seeing Rush. He's a forever backup who can win some games if every single thing goes right and the defense allows very little points. But we saw Rush against Philly last year. If our starter is injured and we need him to salvage a season, then sure. But he's not a long term answer.

If anything, take a look at Lance. You traded a mid round pick for him. If he can't get a chance in that situation, then what was even the point?

Already there. Been hoping for the best for him since 2016. 3rd pick against SF in 3rd straight loss to them was the straw that broke the camels back. If he improves against good defenses I'll be shocked.

Let's see, according to the last poll on here, 95% of posters have no intestinal fortitude.

Looks to me as if it's the opposite. 5% lack the intestinal fortitude to understand when it's time to move on.
Yep ..Polls in Week 5 of 17 Game seasons have proven to be precient

Dak Haters make it up as they go along....so if Cowboys beat Chargers in Week 6....what would the poll mean?

Dak Haters are worthless pollsters :lmao: :lmao2:

if things go that south MM is probably gone, seeing Lance take the field without a huge injury situation would be a pink slip for MM..

Anyone who could possibly believe Jerry is going to sit a healthy guy he owes $89M is naive at best.

I definitely want to see Rush, give Lance more time to develop before throwing him in and ruining any confidence the guy has left if he plays poorly.

I’d like to see Trey whenever they decide to put Simple Dak down finally.

I have absolutely no hope Dak is going to play any better and beat San Diego. I just don’t. How many would be ready to see Rush/Lance thrown into the mix???
I would make Lance “active” on game day instead of an emergency QB option. Rush is not the answer (yes, we know this-lol). So you start getting Lance ready to play, at least in spot duty and plug him in strategically.

Let’s say Dak goes 3 and out with his usual slow start on the opening drive. You bench Dak on drive 2 and play Lance for one drive.

Maybe something good comes from benching Dak. You motivate Dak/get his attention or Lance shows something. Either way it’s better than a whole half of 3 and outs.

Do what is best for the team. I would have put rush in at half time in the playoffs last year. I would have made a qb switch after the first quarter last week.

Rush sees the field better.

If we lose the chargers game, use the bye week to assess who gives you the best chance to win. Rush or lance

You may have the answer on the roster.

If lance plays well, yea!

If lance plays poorly, get a top pick. Look at Bo Nix or Quinn Ewers.

Can’t really lose (just cut Dak and spread the cap hit…it’s Jerry’s Money and his dumb contract, not ours. who cares?). Eagles moved on from wentz to hurts and Philly moved on from Jimmy to purdy. Both big money deals, and are better for it.

The narrative of the cap hit is more about the owners not wanting to eat millions. Just get a young guy on a rookie deal. Same difference.
This. If Dak drops another deuce against the worst pass defense in the league then we need to make the switch. Go with Rush and see what happens, if we keep losing, go to Lance and see what happens. If he keeps losing then we get a shot at a new qb in the draft. Or maybe one of them balls out and we make a run, either way, Dak is not the guy to get us to a SB.

It's time to at least take a look. Especially if we lose.

I don't care if he plays lights out and wins in a dominating fashion. We should absolutely bench him and play lance. See what he has.

Anything is better than doing the same thing over and over, which is the def of insanity.
