If Dak doesn't win the superbowl this year, why should we continue to support a perpetual choker?

So if wins and losses are on TEAMS then stop blaming Rush for the Eagles loss and don't credit Dak with any wins going forward....simple as that.

We were discussing a SB winning season and giving credit to one person. The adults are talking.

QB's dont have records. I have been trying to teach you that for years.

It's the butthurt Romoholics who have always hated Dak. Same childish rants.
Guess what happened before this photo?.......to some on this board, the scale seems to be tipped with unbalance or memory loss.

This argument ..again, always turns to the same thing.."Romo" "Dak"....i have the name for you..."Jerry"..argument done, Neither Romo nor Dak to this point can overcome our GM and "His Way". Period, you cant even tell me who is in charge of setting the gameday lineup...is it the HC or the GM/Owner? Until this GM makes it very clear the HC is in charge and on the hook for the results you will just blame every QB that comes down the pike because none will be good enough to overcome the GM/Owner and "His Way".

He's had enough time to win us the big one. No more excuses. He has that elite defense.

Tell me Cowboy Nation. Why should we support Dak if he goes 1 and done again in the playoffs? If he can't win with this defense quite frankly he never will!! I'm tired and I want superbowls. We all do. Dak isn't Aikman nor is he even Joe Flacco. He's a perpetual choker that never seems to show results come playoffs!!
Are you referring to Dak or TRomo? Can we be objective?

The Anti-Dak crowd cant be serious. Yall really upset over Daks hypothetical performance in a hypothetical game that's still a few months away?

In all seriousness, I don't understand what exactly you guys think is going to happen. Dak will be the QB here for a while. If we have to move on from Dak.....Well let's just say we wanted Jonny Football, Paxton Lynch, & Connor Cook. What are they up to these days?

I see Dak hitting players in stride when I watch. The stats also back up what I'm seeing...

So I'll ask again to prove what you claim, show me what you are seeing.

Yea, sure. I've seen enough of Dak throwing high and behind receivers to last me a lifetime.

It takes a team. All 3 phases and good coaching to win in the playoffs and SB. Unless he throws 4 picks and fumbles it. Lol.

Most of them did was the point . And all of them were considered greater talents and more prolific passers .

It doesn't matter what all of them were considered. The better question is why is there a different set of rules and expectations placed on a 4th round drafted quarterback higher than 1st and 2nd round drafted quarterbacks.

Drew Brees - made it to a Conference Championship in his sixth season.
Peyton Manning - made it to a Conference Championship in his sixth season.
Dan Marino - NFL MVP, won a Conference Championship, & played in a Super Bowl in his second season.
John Elway - won 2 Conference Championships & made it to 2 Super Bowls in his first 5 seasons.
Jim Kelly - made it to Conference Championship in his fifth season (3rd NFL season).

Non of our post-Aikman QBs should be compared to the guys you listed. They actually did get results that showed their potential. Non of our post-Aikman QBs have gotten anywhere even close to the guys on your list in first 6 seasons comparisons. I like Dak, and he is the guy for now, but he, like Romo, did not get results that compare favorably with your list.

All of those are great and valid points. But none of them at that point won a Superbowl.. According to the OP, if a superbowl isn’t won within the 6th full year of a quarterback's tenure then they are to be abandoned..... well when it comes to Dak and they are chokers.

According to the OP original expectation of a Superbowl winner within the 6 or 7 years in the league, that means those other quarterbacks should have been given up on and considered chokers too, correct?? Especially since they all were drafted higher than Dak, right??

First of all, this defense isn’t elite. An elite defense doesn’t get its pants pulled down the way Philly did it on Sunday night.

however, Dak absolutely needs to perform this season. More so because of how crappy the nfc is. And yes, the team overall is good enough to help him.

What year did Romo ever have this level of talent around him?
I am so sick of this argument.

In 2007 Romo had future HOF players at some very key positions. In 2014. The best OL in football. The best RB in football. And a top 3 WR in football. So just stop it already. Oh and a HOF TE.

No one will disagree though that Romo NEVER had a defense like this. This whole "Romo played his whole career with scrubs" argument needs to stop though.

Why is there different expectations for anyone in the top of their class ?

i'm refering to failure in the playoffs.
these losses are more than only daks play.
we've had failures on the defensive end as well.
team game.
A lot of it has been his contribution though. When the offense goes comatose for multiple quarters that is something the qb is very much contributing too as well.
