Dak has a good team here, but may find more success elsewhere due to the simple fact our FO is unwilling to act aggressively in free agency. He may have hit his ceiling in Dallas.
Hit his ceiling in Dallas?
I would love to hear anyone tell me where Dak may end up where he can hit his ceiling finally....lol

So you think he can do more here in Dallas? What exactly are you arguing?

and Brad Johnson and Jeff Hostettler and Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams (who was a 3rd stringer the year he won), even Mark Rypien wasnt that good.
All of those players played on teams with strong defenses, some of them among the best the league had seen. The team Rypien played on was the best in the league the entire year, and was undefeated until the Cowboys beat them. Rypien was only sacked six times the entire year.

. Take Dak off of Dallas and we are just as bad as those crap teams that are out there right now

I don't get this narrative

The last 6 games Dak has missed we're 5-1 with Cooper Rush starting

This idea that this team is a collection of scrubs and JAGs that Dak is carrying is provably false

In reality you could make a reasonably compelling argument that Dak has been the weakest link in most of our recent playoff debacles

Not about the roster being absolutely crap

And yes, Dak has sucked plenty

But C. Rush ain’t it. Spare me w the 5-1.. he was found out quick

This is how I know people don’t watch games. People keep crediting 5-1 to Rush…..the league values that 5-1 so much that no one wanted to sign him.

The offense sucked in that 5-1 stretch.

Never said Rush is "it"

I don't think he's the guy we should pin our hopes on anymore than I think Dak is

Which makes his 5-1 record all the more am endorsement of my point

Any team that can go 5-1 with Rush under center is a reasonably solid team. Which IMO invalidates your assertion that we'd be a bottom feeder if we let Dak walk.

Dak isn't winning a super bowl, not even if went to KC right now. He isn't going to magically start playing better against the top teams just by changing his uniform. He is what he is

Well that's just it. No quarterback in history has ever won a Superbowl by themselves. It takes a team effort.

Because if that was the case, then the argument can be made that Trent Dilpher and Nick Foles were better quarterbacks than Dan Marino and Jim Kelly because they did something that Kelly and Marino couldn't. Win a Superbowl.

You said if Dak played for KC he couldn't win with that team. I disagree and here's why. KC has better coaching, better schemes, better offensive weapons, and better management than Dak has here.

Outside of Mahomes, I don't think many other quarterbacks would win a Superbowl in Dallas because there are other variables that has plagued our team for the last couple of seasons.

Our offensive line played together last year for the first time in 3 seasons, we've led the league in penalties 3 straight years, our defense couldn't stop the run or get off the field on 3rd downs....

We can just start with the penalties..... how many teams have won the Superbowl leading the NFL in penalties and have problems running the ball and stopping the run???

The problem isn't Dak alone. But for some reason people like to conveniently leave out our other problems that 30 other quarterbacks couldn't overcome if they were in Dallas.

Splitting hairs. Who cares if you win 5 games or 8 games. Big whoop

Who cares if you win 8 games or 12 games if you get dog walked by the last team in on WC weekend.

Bigger whoop
