I get that our team is limping into the playoffs as it is, but I fully expect to get hosed on calls against the Bucs. Roger Goodell and his henchmen without ZERO DOUBT want Brady to advance against the Cowboys. If we lose fair and square then so be it, but I will be paying careful attention to the officiating.
Always good to have the loss excuse in your back pocket a week before the game is played

By some remote chance, should Dallas win in Tampa, are all of you who are loudly proclaiming a “No Contest”, going to come back here and say you were wrong?

I don’t know what will happen with a fraction of the certainty that you game-masters do .. so, I don’t say.

But, I don’t look as much like an idiot as many either ..
Wrong about what? One game does not mean anything. They have to play three top shelf games in a row. If they even win two of them I will give Dak some credit but you can't believe in this team. Goes back to that poll a few weeks ago about how many believe in this team and I think it ended up being about 50/50.

If they were to beat Tampa, Philly and San Fran in a row then they have proven to be a team worth note!

Well, they say you want to hit the post season on a hot streak. We are just about the opposite frankly. We play down to the level of bad teams just about every time. For some reason Dak suddenly has the Yips. Yips are bad. It's why kickers hit 20 straight at 40 to 50 yards and then start missing them for no apparent reason. Dak got the Yips at the worst time possible. Hot we are not. Hopefully the defense can turn it on, but I expect the GOAT to play well in the bright lights. Gonna be tough.
Dak has always had the yips! You saw the first one with the int against the Packers in the playoffs in 2016

Last week I would have said something like, the Bucs are an 8 wins team, they are who their record says they are. And Dallas has 12 wins so we should not be afraid of the Bucs. But right now the Cowboys are not playing like a 12 win team. They cannot cover the pass. They cannot run the football. Their QB is throwing INTs on a regular basis and pick 6s on top of that. The best thing they have going for them is Brady is not a running QB and will not scape the pocket through one of the many lanes their pass rush will give him.

I don't know what was up with the team yesterday but I have never seen anything like it. Washington is not a good team and they started a rookie QB who played his first game in the NFL. The rookie looked like a $40 million QB and DAk looked like the rookie who never played the game before.

It is very clear the Cowboys cannot solve the problem at CB2. Maybe Biadasz helps the running game a little bit. Which reminds me, has anyone noticed Tyler Smith has picked up a holding call in each of the two games he played a LG? Yesterday his hold negated a 29 yard pass play that could have gotten Dallas back in the game.

I admit the Bucs are not a good team this year. They won a bad division but a thread. But looking at their WRs, QB, and DL, this is a matchup that favors them right now. Can the Cowboys win? I am as sure the answer is no as I think I can be. That's not a 100% guarantee but how does Dak pick himself up and play with confidence and determination after that performance yesterday? With no running game he is a joke.

1 - I always try to be a "half full" kind of glass of water guy;)

2 - The Cowboys are making their second straight appearance in the playoffs, and finished this season 12-5 with the third best record in the NFC.

3 - MM has been with the Cowboys for 3 years, having a 30-19 overall record (10 of those loses in the first year when he inherited a "very interesting" laying no ground work for winning when he came in).

4 - NFL fans tend to be knee jerk reactive and bipolar for some reason. All one has to do is look towards Andy Reid and his couple losing years (not all his own shoulders IMO) with the Eagles and their fans seemed happy he was gone. I don't think Andy Reid is complaining. This however leads us to the end point with ownership and how the owner "behaves" within in organization, and until the Ringmaster (AKA Jerry Jones) either leaves or change his personality, the Cowboys may forever be a one and done team in the playoffs if you can get a coach to put up with him.

Only my opinion and we all know what they are like...
I have seen little to herald, or even optimistic.
Yes...we did pull out some wins, but i never saw a streak where we played strong and solid.
Thankfully, nfc south sucks so we had little to compete against in playoff spot.

I think we can agree that the last 3 years have been better than the previous 10 years before that?

Like I said, I'm a half full kind of glass guy LMAO!

End of the day, you can't fire the man with the money who owns the team.

Ultimately the opponent is an 8 win team that 9 other teams were able to defeat.

Getting over the Brady fear obstacle while also overcoming poor head coaching and quarterbacking are just as big of a challenge for this team.

Any given Sunday, right?
Well, Monday night in this case.

And no, they are supposed to "at least" win this game in which betting odds already favor them. So no, to the OP.

MM directed Moore to be bland. He told the starters play a half and a series and I will get you out BUT this is the NFL and the teams are so close now that if you take your foot off the gas even a little you can have this type of performance. This had a preseason type feel. Remember Brad Sham said they would be trying things and remember coming out of half they said they wanted to pull players. It didnt workout like that. MM wanted tbay and he got them now prepare for it. You better have some changeups like moving Micah around AND up the middle hitting the weakest link. Tom Brady needs to have someone in his face just watch cinnci and the saints game. Hit their weakest links on D too.

Wrong about what? This team going to a SB? Or making the NFC Championship game and out of the 2nd round for the first time since the triplets were still playing football?

Anyone still happy to win WC games and then lay an egg in Round 2 should change their name to Jerry or Stephen Jones.

This team makes a run (win two games on the road in the playoffs is the floor for me) and I definitely will admit I'm wrong. But a win against 8-9 Tampa Bay won't make me wrong. Prove me wrong by winning at minimum 2 playoff games.

I still think they will probably lose to Tampa though. It's who they are...

I think people are just giving their opinion that they think Tampa will win. Obviously, it's a game, so nobody is saying they don't have a mathematical chance of winning.

I give them a 40%chance of winning. Does that mean if the Cowboys win I was "wrong"? No, it just means they beat the odds.

We have a great chance to win. If we play our game we can beat anyone. But if we don’t pressure brady it’s gonna be a long day. Slowed the line down to assignment football to help with the run. Quinn has got to dial it up..

We march out there to run it down their throat and when it fails we go into take what the defense gives ya te mode. It's the Schuck and Duck mode!! Ha ha ha

19 targets to Schultz'kowski in the last 2 games

Paying those avg guys doesn't make them playoff worthy. Only talent does js

I think we will WIN THE BALL GAME against tampa,
BUT
We are still not convincing enough on 3rd and 10 for my liking to go beyond the divisional playoff. We need that passing threat when the game goes beyond the reach of the run game and sturdy Defense.
We still have a very good defense and special teams, so we can be sure we will be competitive in the playoffs.
Sadly despite all our Faith in and Love for Dak Prescott.... i don't think we have the guile or passing threat to bring the NFC Championship to Arlington so it is up to our D and special teams to take the opportunities ahead of them. Chicago did it in 2006 with poor QB talent so anything is mossible. Happy playoff season to us all.
