If Garrett leaves, who do you want at OC?

How could Jerry Jones top himself with something that spectacular? Afterall, just eight months ago, we had the greatest staff he had ever assembled according to him.

I bet Jerry and Wade would love Lee, but I doubt the Dolphins would let him out. He's probably in charge of developing Henne. Remember, Parcells blocked Sparano from interviewing for OC of the Saints back when he was OL coach here.

I haven't even looked at all the names out there... Need to do that. The Schottenheimers and Chudzinskis are good coaches, I think, but I'd rather have someone older so maybe Tony would be more inclined to listen to them. Saunders might actually work... As long as we keep it to 2% of the playbook.

I dont think he can block him if we give him the same OC/Asst Head coach title Garrett had.

Shanny --- Not sure he wouldn't come coordinate here for a year. Less work, gets used to the players and the staff then knows he is front runner next year to be Wade's replacement as Garrett was this season.

Al Saunders --- Yes he sucked in Washington but they had horrid offensive players besides Portis.

David Lee --- Get Romo comfortable again.

Ray Sherman --- Keep the superstar WR crew happy.

Al Saunders - OC/Asst. Coach - His first line of business is replacing Houck with Mike Solari ASAP

You get a young, hungry, inventive, accomplished, passionate up and coming coordinator with an Alpha Male personality to lead the team and a grizzled, seasoned vet OC. Both of them are running similar schemes to what we're running now, so there would be minimal transition.

Ahhhhhhhhhh yes, I just love it when a plan comes together. I see my Saunders plan is gaining steam. You must admit, it IS a natural fit with him as O.C and Garrett as head coach. Like peas and carrots baby, peas and carrots. Now if we can only get DA JJ to wake up and SMELL THE CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Just as long as Garrett doesn't have anything to do with gameplanning, talent evaluation or decision making, I'm fine with it. He can just go up to the podium every day and hold up his Princeton Degree and mention that he's good buddies with Troy and let everyone fawn while more capable people under him actually do the football work.
