If he maintains his level of play, would you sign Claiborne to Kareem Jacksons contract

No, he did not. How is giving up 41 yards being "killed"? Claiborne isn't Sherman and Revis, he's going to give some yards to Jones. However, stop with the myths. Dude hasn't got shredded, he hasn't given up big plays, give credit where it is due.

If he gave up 41 and the other guys gave up 122 and 2 TDs then it just shows he beat Carr and Patmon more times than he beat Claiborne, but they all got shredded.

Claiborne didn't shut anyone down and people need to stop saying it.

You don't know what "shredded" means. Until you know what that means in the context of football, stop discussing it.

And back up your claims he has gotten "shredded" after you understand the term - You're making claims, back it up.

I said our whole secondary got shredded and Mo is a big a part of that secondary. If JJones had time to pick up another 122 yds and 2 TDs after beating Claiborne for 41 yd that just shows me Claiborne barely covered him.

Wrong, Julio Jones was mostly up against Claiborne the entire first half. Claiborne gave up 16 yards. They then moved him away from him in the second half, and he took advantage of Patmon and Carr. Those two got "shredded".

The worst play Claiborne had in that game was that he slipped on a slant route and gave up a pass to Julio Jones late in 4th. That was his standout mistake, outside of that, he gave up hardly anything.

And cut it out with the "OBJ had a concussion" - dude made plays when he wasn't matched up against Claiborne in week one.

I got it, you have a man-crush on Claiborne this year.

I'll leave him alone if it means so much to you.

I don't have a "man-crush" on him. His injury history and his confidence problems (Him walking out on the team last year) are valid criticisms. Just don't spread ********. Give credit where it's due.

Also, I'm not optimistic about him going up against Cooks tonight. I think tonight is the night he gets "shredded".

Madden 16 has Claiborne as the 103rd best corner in the league. They are pretty close in accounting for players strength and weaknesses. Even if they are off by a little, being ranked 103rd is no Bueno.

If this is satire then bravo.........sadly I don't think so

Mo has played well in these first few games. I will give him credit for that. I will not give him credit for playing healthy, being motivated or finally watching tapes due to any other reason than it is a contract year. The team has serious doubts as well. If they didn't, they would have picked up the fifth year option that comes from him being a first round pick.

Shutting down OBJ and only giving up 41 yards to Julio Jones isn't going above and beyond? What is "above and beyond" holding them both without a catch? So, he has to be better than Revis and Sherman? Got it.

If you know football and the position of CB then you'd understand.

Claiborne is soft and I would only sign him to a very inexpensive contract. He's been ok overall this year but I am not a fan.

Brandon Cooks 4 games this season

Week 1, 4 catches, 49 yards, 12.3 YPC
Week 2, 5 catches, 62 yards, 12.4 YPC
Week 3, 7 catches, 79 yards, 11.3 YPC
Week 4, 4 catches, 25 yards, 6.3 YPC

He came up big on two big third down plays yesterday. He's helping and often times succeeding with locking down one side of the field. Sadly, everyone is is freed up with poor corner and safety play elsewhere.
