Then we do not disagree. When I said "ready to go" he has to go out and perform. I'm not saying if he can make it through the tunnel to the field then he should play. As for Murray he had 18 carries this past weekend, no I'm not overly concerned that Dallas is using their star RB. Murray does not seem to be concerned about it and coaches are monitoring him, to say he could run out of gas and be tired at the end of the season we don't know that either but coaches are with him through out the week and get a good sense on how Murray is feeling.

Back to Romo we get a lot of speculation based on nothing more than hunches by those who are not there, if this is nothing more than a deep bruise in the back and he has mobility and feels he is ready then damn right I play him. I have ruptured kidneys, spleen and a whole host of other uneducated guesses around here when fact is none of you know what the problem Romo has. Guessing is not a fricken fact. I don't think I have seen this many Doctors in one place since my visit to the hospital.
People need to understand....it is NOT just carries. He also had 4 or 5 catches for 80 yards. He also had blitz protetection pick up on a lot of plays. Murray does a LOT more than just run the football. And every time he picks up a blitzing LBer...or catches a pass out of the backfield and gets slammed to the ground...or takes a handoff between the tackeles...every touch counts. I have stated my theory on this over and over. You cannot have Emmit Smith, or Walter Payton, or Barry Sanders, or Ladamlian Thomas anymore. It's not because those guys were bigger, tougher or stronger. The defenders AND the RBs today are bigger, tougher and stronger than the players in past years....and that just makes the collisions even more violent. And these guys only have so many collisions with that amount of force left in them. Marion Barber was a battering ram and he litterally head butted himself out of the NFL in like 5 years. And from I read on the internet...the guy is in a really bad place because of all the head trauma. So while I am not accusing you of this...it really bothers when I read posters say "work DeMarco Murray like a rented mule"..and let next year take of next year..or let another team take care of him. We have a special opportunity THIS year...and that is predicated on maintaing a steady run game. The run game will not look nearly as steady if Murray looks like he is running in mud come week 12. And I personally feel like he cannot continue on this pace for 8 more games PLUS the playoffs.

How many of the losses in the previous three seasons were not must win games? Had they won just one of those non must win games they would have won the division and made the playoffs. You can't throw away mid season games. Especially when the hard part of the schedule is in front of you and your in a dogfight within the division.

If I'm the coach I would want to see how Romo's mobility was and if he was healthy enough to function as his usual self. If he lacks that functionality, I play Weeden and give Romo the extra time to heal.

Bro...the whole team looks bigger, stronger...focused on football. The Cowboys are lucky to be in the position that they are in after winning all those games. That was some hard ball...

Washington was the only team so far that stole a win at home, and that is because they were stronger and more physical that game, and the Cowboys were not ready to get the **** kicked out of them! lol

I hope this team learns from that embarrassment, I hope it pisses them off.

I think it could. Next game up. Nameless and faceless. Look at themselves. I think the team is doing things that they will need for the long run.

I would play him but I wouldn't ask him to wear the cape a lot. Dallas has a physical line, two physical backs, and a very physical WR. With the right mix of runs and short high percentage passes to the backs and receivers, Dallas could really wear down AZ with the run and the pass. Fighting off that line...and having to bring those boys down all day be it carries or traditional/bubble/tunnel screens...that's going to wear any team out. I remember how ragged Seattle looked in the 4th quarter; I want AZ's defense to look twice as bad. Just go into it with a bully mentality. Arizona's D will forget about Romo's health and start focusing on their own.

It's been a long time since I have seen a Cowboy team coming together like this team...in a long time!

They learned how to lose to the 49'ers. They must have hated that feeling and then went on to play some Cowboy football. Now they have to spit that nasty taste out of their mind. Unless they want to be the laughing stock in the NFL...again.

This guy gets it.

Store up wins for those cold days in winter when wins are harder and on the road.

I wouldn't be opposed to Weeden starting the next two games. But the team has to control his turnovers.

I understand what the job of RB entails. I also understand that Murray and coaches will determine what he can do, they know his body and what he is capable of. Many things to concern ones self with this to me is not one of them. I feel comfortable they will monitor and keep a close eye on Murray. I also know he will be getting some extra days of rest coming up shortly so that he and this team can make a final push to close the season
