No, he really wasn't.

then why say he ran into piles?

Cuz he ran into piles.

all backs do it,

I know. Not all backs do it as often as JuJo did when JuJo had a hole to run through.

but then again, you rarely are accurate

Says the person that has been inaccurate about pretty much everything he's posted in this thread...

no, I'm saying Betts wasn't in a rotation system, and that wasn't even my main point, which I see you're conveniently side-stepping

You obviously didn't even understand your own post.

Ladell Betts, last 6 games, all starts: 156 of his 245 carries

And? Still doesn't address the point.

while TJ Duckett had a whopping 26 carries

Again, and?

Julius: 65 of his 267 carries came in that time-span

while Marion Barber had 58 carries

MB3 should of been given even MORE carries since he was obviously outplaying JuJo.

you would know about getting banned wouldn't you?

Sure would, Chico. Now shut your mouth like a good little girl.

fact is, you were the only person who didn't know that Peterson's nickname was AD, you were wrong, man up

I knew Peterson's nickname. I just find it completely STUPID to call someone by the initials of their NICKNAME.

I hope you're not as sure as you were when you kept telling everyone it was Witten's fault, when the Skins blocked our FG attempt, ouch, that was a doozy

so you overrate our line

it completely does since of the 2 players who rushed for more yards w/ less carries than Julius Jones, 1 of them was receiving more carries

it goes w/ the point that Julius rushed for 1,000 yards despite being in a rotation system, only Fred Taylor could say he rushed for more as a rotation player

If you really think Davis was "Good" at guard, then you've got the football intelligence of a dead terrorist.

Please, point out EXACTLY what was in my post that makes you think I overrated our OL. Please, take your time.

Yeah ok.

Yeah cuz all those other RBs were the ONLY RBs on their teams to run the ball.

Again...

AD is not his nickname, it's the INITIALS (you getting this yet? Still to complicated for you?) of his nickname.

I have nothing against Speed but it take more than speed to be a great RB, Smith was nothing but a 4.5 guy and ended up being the all time leading rusher. I'll take a guy who knows how to pick his way thought he line and the ability to break tackles over speed.

So you are saying that you'll take Ron Dayne..

No I'm saying speed is not what makes a great RB, the ability to hit the hole and find day light, the ability to know how to use your blockers is a big part, the ability to shed tackles is a big part. People talk about speed but the fact is a back most critical yards are the 1st 10 to 15 yards after that you’re past the LB and into the open space. Barber is a 4.48 which is not track star speed but it is only a bit slower that Tomlinson 4.46 40

how the hell can Julius average 4.1 yards a carry if running into a pile is such a big deal for him? it's either Julius was running into piles because the Oline didn't do a great job of opening holes

or the Oline was opening many holes, but JJ just ran into the pile, which is it Rack? no more blanket statements

if you said the correct thing, that Julius was horrible at eluding the safety or LB once he got through the hole, we'd have no problem, but no way in hell does a back average 4.1 yards per carry if he's running into a pile a majority of his carries

the extent of your argument, priceless

the other backs carried the greater share of their load, by a wide margin, not so for Fred Taylor, Julius and that Indy RB, and only Taylor did more w/ less

dude, instead of saying Adrian Peterson, I called him by his nickname, get used to it, cuz everytime I talk about Adrian Peterson, I am going to call him by his nickname
