If not Garrett, then who?

Stop. This is a overreaction. 2 weeks ago people on here were praising him for Coach of the year.

Not me.

He's an idiot, always has been

It wasn't Garrett that got 13-3. But he sure threw that away with being soft, poor prep, and horrific as usual game mgmt.

No one cares about 1 seed. This was just another Cowboys failure that everyone is laughing at.

Garrett is a third string HC just like he was QB.

Not so sure about the great motivator part. Team came out flat, confused and shell shocked yesterday.
Have to agree.....Motivator?.....the early play yielded very little......tired of hearing "We'll learn from this".

We'll learn from this.....is typical of People and Teams that lose..not winners, or champions

Garrett can feel good while he hands out his.... participation trophies...again this year

as much as I wanted Garrett gone after 2013, he will stay and deserves it. It appear the coordinators are staying unless the coax Rod to retirement.

Garrett is taking much deserved heat, who would you replace him with?
He's a good motivator, but I feel he lacks the strong personality to get in his coordinator's face and challenge them to up there game. I can't see him getting after Linehan and Marrinelli, questioning Jones, for that matter. That being said, who is available that would provide an upgrade?
Gruden, Saban, any thoughts?
It really doesn't matter who we'd replace him with , it's who Jerry could attract and coexist with how he operates.

The list would be one of unproven and unqualified or either a list of ones who couldn't land a job elsewhere.

LOL. Stop. McDaniels wasn't going to turn Tebow into something more than he was.
You don't know that.

And I don't get your other point. Gruden was a success in his first run as a head coach in Oakland. He played in the AFC title game his third year as a head coach.
And that's why he got fired? The point is he was able to improve at his next stop.

Coughlin took an expansion team in the Jags and turned them into a playoff team in his 2nd year there and had them in an AFC title game by year 4 or 5. Tony Dungy was a success in Tampa. 4 playoff appearances in 6 years, one NFC Title game.
But neither were able to get to the Super Bowl until they moved on.

Those aren't the best examples of guys who spit the bit at their first job and then rebounded in their 2nd gigs.
But they are examples of coaches who improved in their second stop. That was my point.
And you didn't answer my question. If someone is a mistake at one point in their lives, early in their lives, does that mean they're destine to be failures and can never succeed?

I've never liked JG. He could probably go on and miss the playoffs 3 years straight with this team and he'll never be on the hot seat. Why? Because Jerry Jones knows he can control him.
