Would you still like him to be on the Cowboys roster?

Just curious.

Both players are good, but Boldin is better (imo).:starspin

Yes I would. I like his size and playmaking ability. As for Boldin I have nothing bad to say about him he is a damn good player

Roy Williams playing for Texas has absolutely nothing to do with my interest in him for our team.

I live in Colorado and have only been in Texas to change planes in Dallas.

Debating which I would prefer is almost absurd because I would love to get either one.

I would like for Roy or Boldin to play on our team no matter where they played at in college.

That's a tough choice. Chad does have the speed the Cowboys need for thier offence.

Sometimes I wondered if Roy Williams attending OU was a reason he was so polarizing (back when he was actually still good). But I don't think anyone cares about Roy Williams (WR) alma mater either way. He fits a need we currently have, and he might be available.

I think people would be more than happy with Williams or Boldin.

That's the vibe I was getting when I was reading some of the "which WR would you prefer" threads. In those threads I read that most people prefer
R. Williams over C. Johnson & Boldin.

What was going thru my mind was: Is it some kind of TX bias?

I live in TX BTW.

I'd be quite happy with Anquan, but I prefer Roy because he's faster, and the Boys need some more speed at WR...

And yes, I'm a Horns fan, but I'd like Roy even if he was an Aggie... LOL...

For me it's Roy, Anquan close behind, and Chad a distant third (because of the age thing, and the 'tude thing)...

Yes, his alma mater doesn't mean a thing to me.

Doesn't matter to me where he played in college. Any of these guys are better than what we have right now as our #2, and that should be the deciding factor.

I don't hate Roy but I hate spending first rounders on injury risks and when a player has missed time every year but one going back to his college days that should send a huge red flag up. There is no question in my mind that that fact hes a UT grad helps people turn a blind eye to that.

Boldin has also been banged up. Despite that he still averages 20 more catches for over 200 yards more per season over RW.

Chad Johnson misses no time and he outproduces both of the above. He has been a top 3 WR in this league for the past 5 years. Averaging 1300 yards on 85 catches year after year will do that. That is over 15 YPC people.

People can talk about how we need speed but TO is one of the fastest guys in the league and makes big play after big play. TO by himself gets that safety out of the box. What we need is a sure handed guy who has good speed and RAC ability to get open and not drop the ball on 3rd and 8.

To me its easy.

1) 85
2) Boldin
3) RW

just from a production and health standpoint its not even close.

I'd take either of them.

Boldin has simply caught more balls, I don't know how you can claim definitively that one is better than the other.

He catches 20 mmore a season at over 200 more yards. the only thing RW has going for him is him being from UT. Its really not that close and its not like RW is a burner.

Mine is exactly opposite of that.

1...30 years old as of January, has fewest prime years left.
2...28 in October.
3...27 in December
