He can come here and be unmotivated too. That's fine. As long as he's putting up 912 yards per season. I see no reason to think he'd put up less, and I see several reasons to think he'd put up more.

The problem with the Boldin trade is that it's just not likely to ever happen. They have no incentive to trade him. He's cheap and they don't have much behind him. The fact that RW actually only has 1 year left is what makes him a more likely trade target.

I wouldn't mind Chad Johnson either.

Exactly... I'm not hating on Boldin either... He's like a Marion Barber of WRs, not shy of any contact and he doesn't shy away from the middle. Even Chad Johnson, if we get him, look out. I don't like him, but if he helps us win ball games, I'll tolerate him.

It happens. Take a look at Leonard Davis. The consensus was that Jerry wasted on a pick on an unmotivated talent. And even as theogt pointed out, his non-motivated numbers are clearly pretty good.

Also, you said that TO is one of the biggest deep threats in the game, which I do agree with. But my point is TO is even deadilier catching quick passes in the slot and taking it to the house. Jason did not do that much this year, and will probably do much more of it with Roy. Crayton was never a deep threat and couldn't beat his man downfield that much.
