I am more than willing to be analytic beyond statistics Count but at the same time i have yet to see one good reason why RW is better other than anecdotes and hyperbole. He certainly hasnt lived up to his draft status and i just see him being tremendously overrated based on potential whcih should be worthless seeing hes been in the league for 4 years already.

I never said he was better.

I'm not going to bother arguing with you since it's pretty clear you just don't like him, and clearly not just because of how he plays football.

not gonna sit around and call people liars cause i'm bored.

i love the longhorns. about the only college team i like. however, that doesn't stop roy williams from being a legit #1 at this stage of his career.

i'd prefer bolden for less-injury reasons but not sure he's better than roy.

i'd take either in a heartbeat over sweed, and he's from texas too. i hope my bias isn't still showing. : )

Im not bored enough to do that either but of all those posts you quoted there was only one rational explanation. Hes faster. If you prefer the speed hey thats cool. other than that i have yet to see a rational reason as to why hes the better WR.

i am sure many of those same people will also say that Emmitt was hands down the best RB ever and never for a second think that its bias telling them that. I am not using it as a reason to bash. Im just using it as a reason.

i don't hate him either. What i do hate is the idea of using a first to acquire him.

Really though i know i can be irritating to argue with and its not like i when it comes down to it i do not respect others opinions. If i am overbearing just tell me to chill out.

Believe me i know i can argue a point to the point where its really really irritating. Its one thing i have learned if nothing else.

I don't hate Roy but I hate spending first rounders on injury risks and when a player has missed time every year but one going back to his college days that should send a huge red flag up. There is no question in my mind that that fact hes a UT grad helps people turn a blind eye to that.

Boldin has also been banged up. Despite that he still averages 20 more catches for over 200 yards more per season over RW.

Chad Johnson misses no time and he outproduces both of the above. He has been a top 3 WR in this league for the past 5 years. Averaging 1300 yards on 85 catches year after year will do that. That is over 15 YPC people.

People can talk about how we need speed but TO is one of the fastest guys in the league and makes big play after big play. TO by himself gets that safety out of the box. What we need is a sure handed guy who has good speed and RAC ability to get open and not drop the ball on 3rd and 8.

To me its easy.

1) 85
2) Boldin
3) RW

just from a production and health standpoint its not even close.

Question. If we trade for Boldin, does it give us the slowest WRs in the league, between Boldin, Crayton, and 4.58 Stanback?

Discuss.

I'd take either of them.

Boldin has simply caught more balls, I don't know how you can claim definitively that one is better than the other.

I based it on production

Would you still like him to be on the Cowboys roster?

Just curious.

Both players are good, but Boldin is better (imo).:starspin

I think you may be the only one. :)

The more i think about it i think i should put something to that effect in my sig. My friends, significant other etc have pointed out to me that a lot of people take it as very disrespectful especially if they dont know me well.

I want nothing to do with Chad Johnson. I never could stand him, and I was always amazed at how he got a free pass for so many years for being a grade A knucklehead just because he played the game with the media and kissed their butts.

As far as Roy vs. Boldin goes, it's pretty much dead even for me. Frankly, I consider their injury histories a comparative wash. Their production is actually pretty similar as well the last several years. Boldin put up an insane rookie season where he was really the only weapon the Cardinals had and they just threw it to him on every play. Since all things are almost equal, I think I would probably give the nod to Roy Williams because I believe he still has ceiling left to reach. I also don't think his vertical talents were well utilized by Martz' offense, where you throw 150 attempts a year on 7 yard curl patterns to your midget slot WR.

Born in Delaware and now retired/living in Florida. Only been to Texas when I changed planes a few times; did visit my brother while he in the military in Texas. So I don't care anything about who went to what school. All I care about is RWilliams might be easier to get cause he wants to return home to Texas and play for the Cowboys.

Never heard Bouldin say anything about leaving the Cards or playing for the Cowboys.

Chad Jackson wants to leave Cincy and play for anybody who will get him out of that loser franchise and I don't blame him. His stats are fantastic and from that perspective he'd be my first choice. Just concerned about his showboating, mouting off & how well he would get along with TO before they'd be fighting about so and so getting more balls. Also I've heard that Chad really barks/yells at Carson Palmer; doubt that would go over well with Romo nor any of our offensive players.

I understand what your saying about the whole Chad Johnson thing.

Someone here in Dallas (#81) has been blamed for similar stuff too.
I think T.O. turned out to be pretty good player for us.

Life is like a box of chocolates........

If they get one of them, it won't be long before everyone will be happy to have him no matter if he's from U of Texas, slow, or old and cocky as heck.

I'm still trying to figure out what Roy going to Texas has to do with anything.

My reason for asking this question is to see if you like R. Williams cause he's better fit in Dallas than Boldin & Johnson or is it because he played in a college in Texas (it doesn't have to be UT).

I notice R. Williams (WR) is getting alot of love here and I was just wondering why.

That's all.
