will this force Jerry's hand regarding the TO/Garrett relationship discussion? There have been some who said TO would be gone regardless of the Garrett situation. Does Garrett coming back as OC assure TO is gone?

Discussion please?

Who knows what is going on, but, I could only wish T.O. is outta here faster then a burgler!

TO will be here and he should be. Cutting him is ludicrous.

Other than the salary cap hit, why would cutting him be a bad thing?

It might be worth the 9 mil just to get the " i " out the word TEAM.

In hindsight, T.O.'s "I love me some me" says volumes about him.

Lets see.

He led the team in yards receiving.

He was the team leader in TDs.

HE was one of the few guys that had a fire in his belly every game.

He's great in the community.

He has had no off field issues.

There is no reason to cut him.

Does he have any shortcomings regarding the team? Any at all? Or is he just the greatest football player of all time?

Yep, and there isn't an immediate replacement for him. I don't think RW11, Crayton, Hurd, or Austin can step in and command double teams the way TO does.

No, he doesn't have any shortcoming regarding the team. He's team captain for a reason.

And yeah, he actually is one of the greatest of all time at his position.

But when teams double T.O. and he does not get the football, what does he do? Is that what you want young recievers to learn from?

Greatest of all time? No. Greatest on the football team at his position? Yes.

Until you can tell me who is going to fill his shoes, I don't think you should be kicking one of your best players to the curb with no reason.

He goes to the OC and says, "Hey, they are doubling me. We aren't moving the ball. Move me around."

He lets the OC know what is happening on the field. That helps the OC.

And yes, I want my WRs to want the ball. The great ones do.

Does he have any faults at all, in your mind? Any at all?

If anything did happen, I don't think it would be until June anyway. And I honestly don't buy into the TO/Garret conflict.

He led the team in yards receiving. Yep, but by 100 yds. Not sold.

He was the team leader in TDs. And he's the only one who can score? Not sold.

HE was one of the few guys that had a fire in his belly every game. Being the biggest complainer does not mean you have a fire in your belly.

He's great in the community. Not sure about this one. But I'm talking about TEAM contribution.

He has had no off field issues. I can agree with this. But, causing team turmoil is detrimental. He does have a history of this.

There is no reason to cut him. According to your logic. Gotta think outside of the "love me some TO" area though.

Sure he does.

He's loud and obnoxious.

He's a huge self promoter.

So, do you think being loud and obnoxious is good for team chemistry? Do you want the young guys watching him getting away with that and think they can do what he does?

And, by the way, I was a big fan when he first came here, but now I see what he's reallly about.

He loves him some T.O.

Id pick TO over Garett, but thats like picking Stalin over Hitler.

They both should be on the next bus out of town.
