Nope, didn't "just show up". I have been around.

Oh, and we'll be watching the first round on TV waiting for our second round game on the 16th.

Sorry buddy. But, the wheels have fallen off of that bandwagon.

Perhaps, but I would not want to see Wade Phillips and Sean Payton coaching the Saints.

Be lucky you got your coach...from the Cowboys.

What does that tell you?

Your team has peaked to early and is on the downside of the slope..on the 16th. ;)

Actually, my biggest fear is that Wade gets fired and lands in New Orleans. That would be horrific for us.

Now THAT would not be totally out of the question and I would welcome it. As much of an impact as Gregg Williams has had on the mental makeup of the Saints defense, he is not likely to be around next year if the Saints make the run to the Super Bowl. He has been considered as a head coach before and that may finally get him the job. If that happens we will be in the market and I for one would mind Wade at all as a DC in New Orleans.

You're going to need another hurricane before that happens!

I think you will be surprised at what shows up on the field in the Dome. Six weeks of juggling backups in key defensive positions finally comes to an end. All key starters will finally be back in place. Beyond the natural anxiousness for the game to get here, I have few concerns.

I think you may be surprised. Don't believe all the media driven gloom and doom. The Saints are as confident as they have been since October.

I was surprised about the first match up. I would have thought your team was something special.

I was disappointed.

You keep clinging to that.

Spencer and Ware are going to go medieval on your *** come the next time we meet.

Give me your address. I'll send you a few paper bags after the 16th.

Dead serious. My one true concern is Pierre Thomas, but it is looking like he'll be back, as well. In fact, the only starter from the first two thirds of the season that will be missing is Charles Grant, and believe me, most Saints fans see that as a blessing in disguise.

I'd appreciate that. They keep beer colder so much better than those darned plastic ones on the ride home from Albertson's. I'll need several to help stock up for the Super Bowl party.

Broken ribs and running backs do not mix well. I hope Thomas is prepared because the pain is coming. It's playoff time and no one is going to show him any mercy.

Your team has no fight left in them.

Hell they couldn't even fight their way out of a wet paper sack...

I was disappointed, as well. Not terribly surprised, but disappointed. I would welcome a rematch with all of our pieces back in place. The absence of Shockey really exposed Jerod Bushrod at left tackle. Our FB had been assisting Bushrod against the better outside pressure attacks, but with Shockey out David Thomas (who has played great at FB) was forced to take over the pass catching TE duties.

lmao @ playing up "the absence of Shockey exposing a tackle". Give me a break. We haven't had Marc Colombo for weeks now, and didn't have him in NO. All teams have injuries. Deal with it.

That is a given. It will have been four weeks come next week since the injury and he is already said he feels he will be fine to play. If not, Lynell Hamilton can fill the same role even better than Bell or Bush.

Once again, wait and see. I am sure you will be surprised at just how much fight they will have.

That's right. But you have Free who in his own right is a very good tackle. Bushrod is simply filling in for Jamal Brown who we lost prior to the season and is not the long term solution. And yes, all teams have injuries and have to deal with them. The Saints dealt with them and are now back at full strength for the first time since October. It will be a much different Saints squad that you would meet if you are able to survive both the Eagles and the Vikings.
