This has been mentioned before, but based on today's performances by DeSean Jackson, Darren Mc Fadden, do we need a receiver with big play capabilities, or a RB? Of course, CB will be a concern also.

Jackson is a GREAT Punt Returner and thats about it.

Why are people all over this kid as a WR?

Cal has about 2-3 other players who will be better NFL prospects.

personally i can't wait for the week by week play by play comparison of how we spend a pick that we have NO FRIGGIN IDEA of where it will be.

geez people - let crap play out before you spend you time trying to figure out what to do with it.

we have no idea what our needs will truly be.
we have no idea where cleveland will really fall.
we have no idea how the next year of college football were to play out

so i don't give a good god dam of how 1 play in a thousand may shape our decision TODAY. let's wait till things fall in place and we can make a smart choice.

the IGS gets so very old.

Nobody is forcing you to join in. If it bothers you so much, simply don't post in these type of threads.

The culprit is "boredom."

No kidding.

Surprise! This is what people do on sports message boards.

Talk about overreacting, you'd think somebody took a dump in his corn flakes or something.

I agree. I thought Lavelle Hawkins looked like the best WR out there tonight.

so tell me, what good does it do to worry who played well in 1 game of how many to determine where who we may want when we've yet to play a game and the pick we've garnered may or may not be a good one?

let's lob in some science fiction in also, shall we?

like can we trade the cleveland pick for the deathstar plans and can the R2 unit make it home ok or will deshaun mcfadden the intergalactic bad guy get charges pressed against him or will he turn out to be my brother and we must have him?

you may as well be trying to guess where the wind will blow on tues, 2017 some month late in the fall.

you have nowhere near enough information to even speculate with any real validation of it being true. if that's what you want to do then just draft your all time favorite football team and put 'em in biloxi where the next rage of fans will be.

maybe they did. but this "oh my god - mcfadden made a 28 yard run - we must have him!!!" crap is going to get old all through the year.

it's just sad people are so "into" who we can get in a year before we even take a regular season snap. let's see what happens this year and let's then worry about who we'll get next year, after this year.

you want fantasyland, go bug tatoo.

If you can't see the difference between the Death Star and talking about drafting McFadden, I'm not sure there's any point in continuing to talk to you about this subject.

That's nothing compared to the constant Cleveland Brown updates we'll be subjected to.

we know mcfadden is good. we know he's on our radar.

what is going to bug the unholy snot out of me is the instant gratification society making knee jerk calls all year long about how good he is.

how bad he is.

how stupid we'll be to take him.

how we must take him.

how this WR played better in that series of downs.

how this cb is stepping up on that play where he knocked the ball away.

you make draft decision on how a player played through the year.
you make them based on where you're picking in the draft.
you make them based on your team needs and holes to fill.

since we don't know 1 2 or 3 in this instance, worrying about who we'll take NEXT YEAR is just a waste of time. yes, it's a message board and people are more than welcome to do that BECAUSE people will.

and it will annoy a lot of people and a lot of people will say STOP IT.

so yes, i know the difference. but the play by play blow by blow who we should have *today* based on waht happened *today* when we have no idea where it will end?

waste of time to me and i'll say so. you don't like it, follow your own advice and just ignore me.

maybe you know what i mean bb.

i don't care fry had a bad day. he could turn around and have 3 good ones making todays "speculation" useless like...ok, can't say it w/o a warning.

let the world play out before you worry about what to do with it.

but yea, the OH MY GOD FRYE THREW AN INT WE'RE GONNA GET THE #1 PICK is gonna get so old this year.
