if it is it's purely unintentional - i have sigs turned off cause some of 'em get pretty crazy big and make the scrolling take just that much longer. : )

If you turned it on...you'd see this...

I agree, the real question should be Mcfadden or Slaton. Slaton looks like a friggin video game sometimes. The thought of either of these guys in our backfield is exciting.

I can't believe I had to read through five pages of whining by somebody who has the audacitiy to come in this thread and bictch about it's subject matter.

I'll tell you what is going to get old, jerks coming around all season telling us how stupid we are for discussing future drafts, draft scenarios etc.

It is obviously very enjoyable for some of us to speculate, guess, obsess, debate and share opinions about future drafts and all it's possibilities, for some of us it is never to early, and never enough.

If you don't get it, then beat it!

Jackson is a GREAT Punt Returner and thats about it.

Why are people all over this kid as a WR?

Cal has about 2-3 other players who will be better NFL prospects.

Jackson is Marvin Harrison all over again... He runs great routes and blazes past people. I would LOVE to draft him!

**I wouldn't draft him over McFadden**:wink2:

I say we wait 2 years and grab Mike Ford out of USF, hes averaging 14 yards a carry and has 3 TDs this last game, and he went to my high school.

just because someone i rarely agree with i now happen to agree with - that doesn't make either of us right or wrong.

it's just gonna get so old hearing CLEVELAND LOST! here's come the #1 pick and mcfadden!!!" when you have NO CLUE as to if the rest of the season will play out that way, our needs won't change, and mcfadden will still be a top choice.

so much can change in a year it's all pointless to me. when people do it, i'll whine. i never said *i'd* ignore it. i said if my whining bugs you, feel free to ignore *me*.

get it right.

Thread police!!

Better ask iceberg for permission before posting your next thread about the future, lol.

If McFadden has another really good year, then I hope that we'd be in a position to take him because I just don't see Julius Jones being with us next year. I'm pleased with Barber's play so far, and if Barber had just a little more speed to go along with his leg drive and pass receiving skills, I don't think we'd give that much thought to a RB with an early pick. If...McFadden is still there when we pick, I hope we take him.

Gonna keep an eye on this guy now. Thanks. :D

And since I've been playing a lot of NCAA lately, I now want to start a USF dynasty.

As a CAL and Cowboys fan, I can say noone on the Golden Bears is a better pro prospect. The reason he didn't dominate the stat sheet as a WR was because he was getting consistently double teamed by Tennessee, so Jordan and Hawkins were open. They are nowhere near his sprinter class speed of 4.2 and cutting on a dime. He is the real deal. The only current player on Cal offense that may be better than him down the road is freakish Javhid Best, a true freshman who is also known as "Baby Bush."

Yes Slaton looked very good, I would be happy with him or McFadden.
There is something about Slaton that is very special also, he has got to be the quickest back I have seen in college in years. I think quite comparable to
Reggie Bush.
