If the Giants go on to win the Super Bowl...

i doubt our defense could hold the packers offense like this.
Totally agree and thats the point I was trying to make we looked at the packers and said we don't want any part of them while the Giants and there fans were like lets get it on... Its really painful to not only witness it but then hear all the local media and fans remind you of whats going on!!!

What will that say about our Cowboys? I still feel as though we are on the cusp.. Would a Gnats Super Bowl win change the way any of you feel about the state of the Cowboys? As much as it makes me cringe to believe so, they are no pushover and they're giving GB all they can take right now. The front office is making some strong early coaching moves and will undoubtedly be busy in FA.. Add another solid draft to the mix and we are looking much better next year. I'm not trying to pump sunshine. I just want to know your thoughts with regards to how the Gnats play might make you feel about the state of the team based upon how we played them this season.

This games proves to me more than ever that we are nowhere near the Giants. We have some parts that are comparable/better than them...but they have a team...they play smart and tough. What's going to happen when they try to get some secondary help, just like us. We'll go after the same guys...where would you rather play? They have the luxury to even go after more pressure players. Reese is a good GM.

Makes me sick to think we had these punks knocked out of the playoffs, a playoff spot secured and we can't find a way to put them away.

They also should have lost to Arizona. Cruz fumbled but they said he was down. :bang2:

Wow...look at that score. That game next week will be a good one.

And had we won the game at Arizona we wouldn't be watching the giants in the playoffs.

Yep. We would have been one and done but at least the gnats would have been long gone.

There is no correlation between the Giants and the Cowboys when they are not facing each other. This is a trap that a lot of fans fall into.

I expect better from you.

Once Romo has more than a fraction of a second to sit back and survey the field we'll have a better shot.

AND, we must have a much improved defense. Ineffective defense overall (or in key stretches) cost the team probably 3-4 wins this year.

definitely especially the secondary.

That must mean the Commanders are pretty close too since they played us to the wire in both games as well
Not to mention the Commanders swept the Giants, and pretty much dominated them both times lol...must mean the Skins are ahead of everyone in the NFC! Whooo!! ;)

I don't think it matters (hey, I can remember the skins sweeping us when we won the sb) but I also don't think NY will win next week.

The Cowboys need to add about 7 quality players(2 OL, 1 DL, 2 LB, 2 DBs) before they are true contenders and that will likely take a couple of years IF the Cowboys manage to draft well and don't bring in JAGS from the free agent market. I'll believe it when I see it, the jury is still out on the last couple of drafts and they were a No Show in the last free agent period.

What I got from watching the Giants today was just how far they've separated themselves from the Cowboys. The Giants just went into Lambeau and completely took the will out of a 15-1 Packers team. This Giants team looks better than the one that won the SB in 07. They have more weapons now and Eli is playing at a much higher level than in 07 having clearly established himself as one of the elite QB's in the NFL. The Giants look very solid offensively and defensively it's amazing how much they've improved since the final month of the regular season. The Cowboys are on the cusp of being in the cellar in the NFC East next season and having a top 10 pick in the 2013 draft.

If the Giants go on to win the Super Bowl I'll feel crappy cause that means that there'll be two teams I feel that are better than us in our division, and we have a difficult schedule next year outside the division.

The Cowboys have been irrelevant at this time of the season for the past 16 years or so, ... the Giants not so much.

We are the cellar dweller of playoffs wins over the past 16 years.

I don't like it, I'm sorry if you don't like it, .. but that is the way it is.

Giants are well coached and have an elite QB. For those that think Romo is still better than Eli, check your head at the door.
