If the team has come together why can't the fans?

It's easier to blame the haters and now the infiltration of Eagles fans. What a load of cr_p!!!!! LOL

Maybe because some believe you have to be ride-or-die fans to be true fans?

Fans come in all kinds of different types. I don't agree with all of them. I think some are too unrealistic and I think some are overly critical. Doesn't mean they are not true Cowboys fans.

We're never going to all agree, but that doesn't mean we can't have conversations and discussions as fans of this team. We just need to focus more on that than calling out each other over whether we are lovers, haters, trolls or whatever.

Of course, I guess if that's how someone wants to fan, then that's their prerogative as well. I just find the arguments over being a fan worse than the arguments about the team. We're at least here to discuss the team.

I don't think so because we pretty much need to win all of our games to make the playoffs. Any loss from here to the Super Bowl will bring disdain.

Me? I'm just looking for progress. I think playoff expectations after a bad start to the season are unrealistic. Can we play with teams like the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, etc., with the team that has been put together now? And if we do, will we hold on to that team, and even build on it, to try to be competitive next year?

There's been a much greater emphasis on the win and fans have come together on a number of congratulatory viewpoints: Dak's management, Pickens worldly catches, the Quinnen inspired D-Line. The only 'negativity' is surrounding CeeDee's drops (which in isolation were dreadful)..... and exacerbated as many of us foresee Jerry finding a way to allow Pickens to leave.
The problem with most all forums is that fans have Pet Cats who wont accept any criticisms (or see any criticism as being a threat)......
.....Trolls, Pet Cater's, and Cowboys fans who in recent years witnessed capitulations following success (SF x2 and GB).

I agree.....and in 'Forum Law' you'll probably get negative responses saying you're wrong we need to win it this year, you're a Jerry apologist.....if you dont think we'll win this year then you're a Troll.

Like you, i'm enjoying the journey......especially as (more by luck than planning) we're actually doing this the right way.
 
People get mad when you tell them not to be so negative which leads to them being mad even though they already were.
 
Some people, on some level, enjoy whining and complaining. Don’t take that joy away from them as it’s a part of who they are.
