If we go 9-8 to end the season with Rush, should there be a QB controversy?

how many Dak jersey's sell vs. how many rush jerseys.....
You know at face value this is a laughable comment, but seriously Jerry probably does consider this stuff when building a team.

" how many jerseys can I sell with this player?" No wonder this team is such a mess thanks to our wonderful GM

If this team ends up finishing 9-8 to end the regular season, should there be a QB controversy? It would be something to behold to see Cooper Rush bringing us to a 9-8 record after a dismal 3-5 start. You almost have to consider benching Dak at that point. What say you Cowboys?!
As true as this should be that there should be one, there's something called 60 million!!

The only QB controversy in Dallas is we don’t have one. If we ever win another SB with the Jones clan, it won’t be with any QB currently on the roster. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
As of now I'm keeping Rush at #2 or #3.

They’d have to sign Rush to a contract first. No contract, no controversy.
Stupidly we'd pay a backup such as rush 10 million a year when we already have a QB, instead of just drafting one or getting someone else low key (vet)

Its funny how nobody has a problem replacing a CB or TE or OL who is underperforming but for some reason hesitate to replace the QB. I get it. The owner/GM is insane. He runs the team like a board game played in his mansion. But the reasoning should be the same. Play the players who's performance results in team victories. If this team can be 9-8 without spending $60 million at the QB position, there should be serious thought to clearing that bloated salary.

problem is we actually WANTED to give Dak the big deal it's clearly obvious they wanted to do this, we should have waited I'm sorry.

Some bozos here are already trying to create a controversy. They claim Rush is better and the team looks better with him. If the Cowboys win tonight one of them will respond to this post with a wise crack. Book it! lol

So you don't think the team LOOKS different? If not..fine. If so...there should be a few reasons for it.

Different personnel? Injury reprieve? An offensive scheme that HAS to be inherently different with a back up QB?
