If we make big moves and they don't work out, then what?

Does Jerry and fans see this as a failure, or do we praise the aggression we took to make our team better and or put them in contention to push to go far in the playoffs!?? Please give your thoughts

The problem with making any trades at this point is that Jerrah and company are adamant about building through the draft and our draft capital is low for 2024. We have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 7th. Most likely near the back of the order because we should make the playoffs. Then we will probably get two 6th round comp picks which are like having two additional 7th round picks. So we basically have only 3 premium draft picks. If Jerrah and Stephen realized that we could save ourselves draft picks by making a little noise in free agency then we wouldn't have to be throwing away draft picks at the trade deadline to improve the team. Build via free agency and the draft with an occasional trade.

The playing field is already set.

Planning on maybe moving to San Antonio or Austin?

The Cowboys still have major contracts to sign and good players on the roster. How many top roster players are further needed?

Clearly we need more since how long has it been since we even made it to the Conference Championship game?
Bottom line is that we need more. It is up to a COMPETENT and DETERMINED Front Office to get it one way or another.
As regards the cap, there are clearly ways to manipulate it as we have SEEN OTHER TEAMS DO.
And it is fairly safe to bet on the cap rising substantially for the next few years so that can be used as well.
Bottom line anyone not wanting to take some risks to get better is a LOSER.

If a DH can be had for a 2025 draft pick, then you can add a top player without worrying about draft capital in 2024. The Rams didn't have top tier picks for like 3 years, and they stumbled upon a potential franchise WR in last years draft and they still field a competitive team year after year

True, there are plenty of options that would elevate the present roster more.

You keep making moves until you get it right, or you fire the GM and find one that can make good moves. Never stop trying to improve the team.
This battle is already set...I don't think blowing up AT&T Stadium instead, is productive. It doesn't change for benefit or hit current team status.

If one hasn't paid enough attention to notice this team is very damn strong, worry and hate it then....but that is your path, not the Cowboys.

At this point. I feel like a big move is needed. Jerry and his son need to get this fan base back. The real fans. Not the suits who fill the suites and season ticket numbers. The fans that want to believe this family actually cares about winning. Doing nothing proves yet again this family doesnt care about our fans at all. As if we needed more evidence of that.

Then the people who are calling for a big move will critize Jerry for making a big move even though that's what's they wanted.

at least you tried!, and trades not just for the sake of trades. but trades to make team better. if they don't work out, so be it.
I agree with this .... but honestly, I don't know that there are any moves that would put us over the top at this point of the season. I can see some making us better but not championship level.

Ie, think we would significantly overpay for minimal results.

If we don't do anything it'll be funny hearing about all the CALLS we made on certain players, but the PRICE WASN"T RIGHT
