If we make the playoffs is there a point?

If healthy, the talent and coaching is not good enough to make a run. Sometimes your favorite team is simply lacking. This is one if those times. It has been that way for a few years actually.

I truly don't get it... I am a firm believer of it don't mean a thing unless you get the ring... But you don't have a chance if you are not in the playoffs ...I am not a cowboys apologist or happy fan but do question why some are even fans anymore? I mean if you are a cowboys fan (fan being short for fanatic ) why would you remain one if some of you feel it's so bleak.. There are other teams to cheer for.. I mean your not cheering for the cowboys yet circling and hanging around predicting and waiting on your own visions of the pending doom., many of you try and claim your realists and know what will happen based on it already has in the past.. I don't get it??if you are miserable , if you truly believe Dallas is going to keep losing and fulfilling your prophecy of doom ... Then why even watch? Why claim to be a fan.., cleanse your soul and move on.. Follow another franchise...


But be forewarned today's NFL is not for the faint of heart .. Please in the past decade there has been very few dominating teams that breezed through the season ... Breezed through the playoffs and won a Super Bowl .., unfortunately I think many NFL are still stuck in the 90's when teams went 14-2 and 13-3 with regularity on there way to a lopsided Super Bowl win..

Agree, completely. I wish most of our fan base would take this advice and move on.... to root for another team.

Say we back into the division title. Is there even a point. Our DB's can do jack and our Offense can't capitalize on the turnovers we do get.

So what you are saying that except for the team that wins the Superbowl ......... there is no point to the season.

There is not much to look forward to.

Just consider yourself fortunate to be so efficient at watching games that you only need to see 9 weeks of football to know how a whole season will turn out. That's pretty impressive.

Ah...the high standards despite the team's obvious limitations argument. It's be nice to have such a casual connection with the realities of the current league.

Makes it a lot simpler when all you have to do is complain that things aren't good enough. You're only wrong when the team wins it all, if then. And in those situations, nobody cares, anyway.

Yes, there is a point. Anything can happen when you reach the playoffs. I don't buy into the theory that we should just accept the fact that this is a mediocre team destined to fail. There's a lot of talent on this roster. The Ravens and Giants have won recent Super Bowls after VERY mediocre regular seasons.

No that is absolutely BS that anything can happen once you reach the playoffs. The weaker teams fall and the strong remain. We do have talent but we have HUGE holes that really good teams exploit. THAT is why we have virtually no chance at making a serious run.
