I would give a lot just to see Roger play one more game, let alone a season or whatever.

As far as needs go, it would probably be Bob Hayes. That kind of speed opposite TO and this offense would be real tough to handle. Maybe Hershel. He and MarBar would be a devistating combination.

Haley would also be a nice addition but he was not really in his prime when we got him. Now if we were talking about the Haley of the late 80s, he would be devistating.

I agree with bringing Roger back. Sorry to all those out there who think different, but Romo is not in Staubach's league just yet.
On defense:
I would love to see Charlie Waters and Cliff Harris as our safeties (Roy could watch from the sideline and maybe learn something)
Mel Renfro and Everson Walls at the corners. That would be an awsome secondary:bow:

My nominees would include:

Bob Lilly
Roger Staubach
Bob Hayes
Deion Sanders

All have an enormous impact at their position.

I love dominant interior linemen. Who doesn't crave what Roger brought to the table? Then there's Deion, who would shut down one side of the field. How about Bullet Bob, the fastest man alive?

If we are talking about bringing back one of these guys to fit on the current squad, I would have to go with Sanders. He is not even close to being my personal favorite amongst the four mentioned above. In fact, he's last on the list.

But what he brought, in his prime, is something I have never seen before or since he played.

Then again, I wonder how the rules today would affect him and other great corners of the past.

Bah, we will never know. So I'll go with the corner.

Bob Lilly is my all-time favorite player ever but I don't think he would be as dominant in today's game. At 260 lbs he would be too light to play DT or DE in the 3-4. Now maybe we could move him to OLB but that is not an area of need on this team and I don't believe he ever covered anyone in his career.

My guess would probably be Aikman.

He played big in big games. With his accuracy, and Jason Garrett being offensive coordinator, he would have been much more effective than Romo.

The title is bring back one former Cowboy player in his prime. It doesn't specify that he had to be in his prime while with the Cowboys.

Eddie Murray then

Pre-Romo answer would have been Aikman.
This current group needs a leader bad. So Michael Irvin would be the choice!
