If you could get any one running back to run behind our line, who would it be?

IDK. Sanders or Perterson or Jackson. IDK IDK. So many good backs.

Somehow i would love to see Terell Davis run behind this OL. When i watched this guy in his prime i was just WOW. He took big hits that didnt even made his upper body bend. He was a great one cut runner. With power and speed. I thin he would fit our style of run game.

Maybe Peterson in his prime. But right now i'd go with Davis.

Marcus Allen's vision and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield would allow him to do great things behind this line.
That being said I just mentioned him because I hadn't seen his name in this thread yet. My first choice would be Eric Dickerson.

If we can get the guy that looks like the guy in this video, that'll be pretty scary.

Otherwise I'll take Adrian Peterson over any other back ever.

1845 reason why your vision comment is incorrect. Lost 3 fumbles in the regular season last year isn't drastic and correctable. When Romo was tossing tons of picks in double digits, funny how that was correctable..

Murray lost 5 fumbles in the regular season last year (plus the one in the playoffs).

Romo has never thrown picks at a terribly high rate. He's gotten a lot better, but he was around league average in that department through the early part of his career.

Did you see the contract the Eagles gave Murray? He was a great guy to have on a rookie contract, but not somebody you want to be paying that much for after one healthy year in which he was worked like a dog. That contract may work out okay for the Eagles, but the odds are really against it.

Adrian Peterson, he's got the best combination of size, speed, vision, and power, more so than any running back in history IMO.

I am not sure if we played this game already but if you could choose any one past/present who would you go with? My guy would actually be Terrell Davis. I think he would fit perfectly as most would but his running style from his best years would be a pleasure to watch behind this line.

Here are two sites, one is the league site, that disagrees with your 5 regular season fumbles that were lost to the other team.

Here are two sites, and one the league site, which shows Romo has thrown double digit picks in six of his 9 seasons. Tow of those seaso0ns were 19 picks each. However, my point was not really about the number in any regard but the way fans see his picks versus Murray's fumbles.

Seriously? Did you not watch the Cowboys last year?

Game 1:
DeMarco Murray left end for 2 yards (tackle by Dan Skuta). DeMarco Murray fumbles (forced by Dan Skuta), recovered by Chris Culliver at DAL-35 and returned for 35 yards, touchdown

Game 2:
DeMarco Murray right guard for 9 yards. DeMarco Murray fumbles, recovered by Ropati Pitoitua at TEN-46 (tackle by DeMarco Murray)

Game 3:
Tony Romo pass complete short left to DeMarco Murray for 9 yards (tackle by Alec Ogletree). DeMarco Murray fumbles (forced by Alec Ogletree), recovered by Cody Davis at STL-34 and returned for 1 yards (tackle by Travis Frederick)

Game 5:
DeMarco Murray right tackle for -2 yards (tackle by Kendrick Lewis and Brooks Reed). DeMarco Murray fumbles (forced by Kendrick Lewis), recovered by Justin Tuggle at HOU-14 (tackle by Tyler Clutts)

Game 8:
Tony Romo pass complete short right to DeMarco Murray for 34 yards (tackle by Bashaud Breeland). DeMarco Murray fumbles (forced by Bashaud Breeland), recovered by Brandon Meriweather at WAS-10 (tackle by Terrance Williams)

Fumbles after receptions count just as much as fumbles on rushing plays.

I never said he didn't have double-digit INTs in some seasons. I said that his INT rate was never terribly high compared to the rest of the league.

If we're talking current, I'd want Marshawn Lynch...hands down. Pair his intensity with Dez's and our O would be downright scary.

Its funny, you all know who the homers are because they all say Emmitt. LOL

Peterson would have 2500 yards behind this line.

Earl Campbell. Our OL would create big holes and he'd pile drive DBs into the next century.

Or Bo Jackson.

A better question would have been a RB playing today not named AP.

My answer for that would be Jamaal Charles.

I would take Le'Veon Bell.

I'd take him too, someone who can shed/juke the first defender and win a footrace would be phenomenal behind this line.

That's what I believe Randle can be.
