To piggy back off of the If you could trade for one player thread, if you could have any of the other 31 head coaches to replace Carrot top, who would you pick? I am going with Jim Harbaugh.
Is Jerry still the GM?
With Jerry as the GM, Garrett is the best option. A higher profile head coach would cause Jerry need more attention and result in a Roy Williams or Joey Galloway trade.
Belichick would win 11-12 games a year with this same roster. I think he is in a class by himself. I think jim Harbaugh 2nd.
LOL. Some good replies in this thread.
Pretty funny to suggest that somehow because of Jerry, a poor coach is better for us than a good coach.
I think Belichick is in a class by himself. He reminds me of Landry. He has a system that works and his system is bigger than the players:
Here's the other guy I'd want. Not really, but sort of. If I were a short timer, or an interim coach, this is what I'm doing, anyway.

He is. He's the best football coach I've ever seen in the NFL.
We'd be better off even with retired Joey and Roy taking up roster space on this team if we could swap Jason for a real high profile coach in exchange.
He is an awful coach, Harbaugh and Jerry might clash, but who cares, at least he would win games.
The Cowboys won a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer eating a hot dog on the sideline.
Talent wins.
Just stay with Garrett. He has the best chance of making it work with Jerry. Even with Parcells, Jerry had to sign TO to feel like he was involved.
Harbough, he's Goodell's pet cat.
