If you think Dak played well

Im not sure they "Stopped us" if i told you we would need to score 45 on the lions in detroit to win.... what would you give me as odds to win? The offense was not great for sure but generally you have a loss incomming when you give up 44 points on the road..thats just a fact.
So it's the GM's fault that Dak takes up 25% of the cap. All Dak did was not put up enough points.

So the idea is set a MADE UP NUMBER that "should be enough" and when it's not...blame everyone but Dak.

LOL LOL LOL

OH...so you agree that Dak is an overpaid albatross and we should cut ties and get a QB who is paid average because all we get are average results from Dak?

Or did you just spend the last few posts telling us that Dak's offense is #1? Which is it? Is he worth it or not?
lol your trying to make this about Dak and again i dont think it really matters until the GM decides that he wants to build a team with a defense wether that be with Dak or any other QB.. Dak is way overpaid if winning is the GM''s goal because without a defense he isnt gonna win..

yes literally its the GM's fault he takes up any amount of the cap... that he is on the team is the GM's fault..enough for what? set a made up number for what?

So you can do the math but you don't want to complete the logical syllogism here. Dak is overpaid if the goal is to win a SB...but let's blame the GM and support Dak?

NO. Dak is PART of the problem.

a made up number for points the D should give up. When you pay the QB and rob the D to support the QB his job is to outscore the other team. Period. It's his job if he makes $1...but especially if he's the highest paid ever.

who is supporting Dak here? again if you want to blame him for playing bad thats completley in line... his contract is on the GM why is this so hard?

i dont think you have to make it up im sure there is a winning % that shows giving up 44 points is bad...

People forget that early in the KC game, Dak threw an INT directly to Nico Collins...and at the end of the game, he nearly threw another pick. He spazzes out in key moments...it's year 9. Anyone who can't admit this is in love.
Same thing happened against the Eagles the second game too, threw it right to the safety, but he dropped it.

Im seeing a lot of fans “relieved” that the defense should shoulder the blame for this loss as opposed to lumping Dak in there as well.

He played a bad game. The lazy will look at the stat sheet and see he threw for over 300 yards and the ints were the fault of the receivers.

He was inaccurate on several deep passes (got CD concussed).

Threw that horrific backwards pass instead of throwing it away

Led 0 Td drives in the first half against a team missing most of their secondary.
I remember I said he's never played 3 good games in a row late season vs good teams. Should've known this would be the game he'd prove me right. Funny enough it was the game he should've for sure performed best in.

Others on this board have already answered this evasive bit of sophistry.

The team was constructed to elevate Dak - WRs, lineman, TE, etc...all robbing the defense of needed elements.

In addition, Dak demanded to be the highest paid...at the expense of the defense and special teams...because those 2 units go hand-in-hand often.

The #1 offense for 13 games is a subjective low bar only duped Cowboys fan imbibe. #1 ...by WHICH METRIC? Ah...the one that props up Dak. Either way, we'll agree the offense was good...but given the above...that's not above expectations...that's exactly what you should expect given the investment.

As to the color of milk...
it depends on how it is stored and how long it has been that way. For example, the spoiled milk of your evasive and Dak-convenient logic has me tossing this batch out. Don't care about the color...it smells funny.

I understand where you're coming from but you can't blame the lack of defensive pieces on Dak. Thats Jerry's fault. Dak didn't hold a gun to his head for a contract, Dak and his management negotiated and got what they asked for.

Jerry could have accepted the contract demand or cut Dak loose. Thats not on Dak my friend.

Then you said the offense was constructed around Dak? Well thats how offenses are usually built bro. There isn't a quarterback on the planet who could win any games without offensive talent built around them.

The Dak fans are insane.

$60m QB, $35m WR (soon-to-be 2) 3 first rounders on the OL, top-10 paid tight end

“b b but the defense”
I love how yall gloss over a 29th ranked defense as if teams who usually succeed have bottom 3 ranked defenses. Thats cute.

Mahomes is arguably the best quarterback in NFL history. How in the world did a Patrick Mahomes led team lose to a Dak Prescott led team?

Wait... 4 days before that, how in the world did a Hurts led Superbowl champion team lose to a Dak Prescott led team? You mean to tell me that the Superbowl champion with an elite quarterback, elite receiving corp, elite running back and an elite defense had a 21 point lead.....

And loss to a Cowboys team led by a non elite quarterback???

How in the world did that happen vs the last two Superbowl teams???

This whole conversation is hilarious. Has Dak ever played poorly in a big game? Yes, of course. But he led the offense to 30 points in a game where his #1 was gone before the half and his #2 wasn’t even trying. It was a game when our OL was punked all night so we couldn’t run much, and both OTs were really bad. He threw 2 INTs that were right in the hands of Pickens and Flournoy. Detroit only punted twice and their last punt was with 9:23 left in the second quarter. On top of that, the punt and kickoff coverage teams gave Detroit 261 yards in kickoff returns and a punt return of 21.

Nate Thomas gave up 8 QB pressures and a sack all by himself. Steele gave up another 6 pressures and a sack.

We haven’t had a ton of Dak hate this year, but it’s insane that you guys come out of the woodwork after a loss when Dak was the only reason, besides Lamb in the first half, that we were even in the game.

Two touchdowns

now your getting it, you dont agree with the construction of the team, so who constructed the team this way? was it the players?
I know what you are saying...but I absolutely will NOT absolve the players from it either.

Dak and his offense did not score a TD in the first half, made us kick five FGs, and did not score in the final two possessions of the game.

That ain't helpin'.

You MUST have me confused for someone else lol

I am a founding member of Dak's fanclub. I was the one who wanted to draft him and thought he would be the best QB from that class BEFORE we took him.
Poor AC wrong again
