If Dak had a league MVP, multiple all Pros, 3 SB MVP Awards and a bunch of Lombardi's in the closet, he would deserve (and receive) a longer leash from just about everyone on this board. But he doesn't..

It's hilarious to see the Stans trot out the "But Mahomes" or "But Brady" card whenever they had a struggle etc.
As if Dak is even fit to shine their shoes.

C'mon man. If Dak is so damn great, defending him should be easy. you shouldn't have to resort to constantly pointing out other peoples occasional struggles to prop him up.

Clearly, you didn’t look good enough. Dak’s away record in December is 9-4 and some of those wins were against solid playoff teams.

It's crazy...I am a Dallas Cowboys fan through and through for longer than most these kids been alive. But I am also a factual realist. Talking smack about beating playoff teams?

Insane.

Even the one we did beat wasn't a true playoff caliber team....a LOSING record Bucs. Losers don't generally make the playoffs but we sure can beat losers.

Molehill Mahomes 6-7 with a D that gives up 19.4 points per game.

Dak 6-6-1 with a D that gives up 29.7 points per game.

This was very easy to defend.

I think Mahomes 5 SB and 3 wins gives him some lead way and capital, you think anyone would complain if Dak had those numbers. Who wouldn’t swap Mahomes for Dak right now, be honest no knock on Dak but it is what it is. Daks playoff success is staggering isn’t it

Not a defense at all. It's a strawman. No one on here is saying that Mahomes is having a good year this year, or has been playing up to his usual standards. He's clearly struggling. Meanwhile, you're acting like because Mahomes is having a sub par year, all of a sudden the dominance he showed for most of his career basically up until about 12-15 months ago never happened and somehow he should be looked at equivalently to Dak (or any other QB from his era). It's an asinine argument to make. You're the only one making it.

Feel free to continue with this strawman argument, but the reality is you didn't defend crap.
Or Dak.
Which come to think of it, is a much more equivalent comparison than Dak/Mahomes.

Maybe, but field position should be taken into account, as one of the many factors in wins and losses. I don't know how much field their defense had to defend, compared to how much our defense had to defend, but if someone were to use defensive production as a means of determining offensive production, those stats are important to know.
