Im seeing a lot of fans “relieved” that the defense should shoulder the blame for this loss as opposed to lumping Dak in there as well.

He played a bad game. The lazy will look at the stat sheet and see he threw for over 300 yards and the ints were the fault of the receivers.

He was inaccurate on several deep passes (got CD concussed).

Threw that horrific backwards pass instead of throwing it away

Led 0 Td drives in the first half against a team missing most of their secondary.

While Dak didn't play well enough to overcome the horrendous play of the O-line, he didn't get much help from anyone else on the team.

We all agree that the defense was bad last night. So by your logic, there should be 0 threads on Ferguson, Pickens, Dak, Turpin, the Special Teams etc.

Yeah I mean special teams gave them the ball on the 50 all game but I’m not so sure if they started from the 1 they still wouldn’t have scored. They were converting 1st and 30s.

We got the TD not because of any high level QB play is my point. IIRC, that was the series he "ran" (slow walked) for a first down, JWill ran for a first down & maybe a few other runs and then the TD to a WIDE OPEN receiver. High schoolers could have done it. Crediting it to the QB as if it's some heroic effort is just wrong.

Besides, if everyone other than Dak was so bad which is what a lot of comments are about, how did we get it to that score?? Blame to go around. Everyone agrees. But Dak didn't keep us in the game. Aubrey did.

I just watched Jameis Wilson with Wan’dale Robinson and bums torch this same defense two weeks ago.

2 teams had their backs against the wall 1 showed up the other didnt. As much as you want to make this about the QB because thats what you do the line and the defense were far worse. Was Dak without fault hell no but he was far from the biggest problem . So all the whining that you folks do that are ready to move on from Dak.Ill remind you hes under contract and will be. And we dont have a 2nd rounder or 3rd rounder this year.

Defense needs much work. Detroit showed up they were flying all over did you that from the cowboys defense?

He started an entire thread about the QB, when clearly the biggest problem last night was the defense that gave up 44 points and special teams. Constantly blaming the QB when it is obvious this team has bigger issues last night is just silly and gas lighting. I don't really care who plays QB as I am fan of the team. I also stated I wouldn't cry if they moved on from Dak, so is calling me a Dak stan misrepresenting what I said as well?

it's his right to start a thread about the specific topic of how the QB performed. that doesn't speak to his or anyone else's "other" thoughts about the game.

threads like this are started because there are those who start threads blaming everyone BUT the QB in every game for the last decade.

Dak was the least of their problems. Stupid penalties at the worst times and turnovers. They had the ball and could score at the end of the first half, then get the ball to start the third. Instead, they punt it away, Lions get a FG before the half. Then they come out and Pickens lets the ball bounce right off his hands. Lions TD. A 10 point swing right there. The game was over.

I'm kinda glad the D got exposed again. There was some false hope it suddenly was much better the last few weeks. Their two starting safties are both over 30, Donovan Wilson's contract is up. The linebacking is just bad. Not a one of them can cover anyone let alone tackle. Overshown is the only descent LBer with a future and you don't come back that fast from a total knee blowout. None of the CBs can tackle worth a damn either.
