If Zeke Plays The First Snap, We Aren't a Serious Team

Zeke playing the first snap would be a confirming metaphor for what the FO values: Brand over performance, comfort over progress, optics over reality

It better be Dowdle. He’s the better back, and he’s earned a starting role. Heck I’d rather see Deuce more than Zeke this game.
Zeke should be home on the couch eating Fritos.

LOL

We havent been a serious team in years
Wake up

This thread serves as more proof the first game of season can't get here fast enough!!

The fact that they brought Zeke back when he was getting no other offers, are counting him twice against the cap, and just gave him the starting role was itself a confirmation of the Cowboys not being serious about competing for a SB.

But before that, we knew they weren't serious, nor would we be a contender when Jerry didn't step down and hire a proper GM as the first act of business after the GB loss.

I never thought I'd ever read that Rico Dowdle better be starting.

How did we get here?
The scary part is that there's some here that see no problem with that and seriously believe this team has a SB roster

And that's why the entire sports world is disgusted with Cowboys fans

Agreed and our off-season is the answer to the question about if we are a serious team.

Literally no one wanted him, even as a backup
We got us a full blow hater here sheesh! Couldn't just comment in the other thread you made a new one to boot.

"Literally"?....show us your proof.

They're clearly stuck on 2020 or before zeke, over the last few years he's been extremely slow, and gets tackled too easy. His only real help is short yardage/redzone/pass pro
And so what;s wrong with that? I know...we were so GOOD at it the last couple years.

I would say Bravo!
I mean what are we supposed to say "get him off the team??" Good job, let's keep it up, some of actually want to be proven wrong and see if he can give us something at least!!
