We need to blame the FO if anything for selling fans the dream that blowing up this secondary and stuffing it with rookies and mediocre players was going to be an upgrade. You can't blame Taco really. First year pass rushers are typically unremarkable more than not. Joey Bosa was one of those exceptions. We're putting Taco, a late 1st rounder, in a position to expect him to beat history. We got lucky with Dak and Zeke. You can only get lucky so many times. Taco looks like your typical 1st year DE.

Geez after 4 games??? What are we?......The Cleveland browns where we don't give players the chance to develop and turn over the majority of the roster every season?

I wasn't crazy about the Taco pick. I think he was drafted far too early. I really don't like his speed numbers. He will probably have to get it done with power in the NFL, and that could be a while.

He can't be labelled a bust yet, its far too early for that. But he can get reps in practice anf the production now needs to come from players who are flashing something. Taco isn't doing that.

I actually still have hope for him, at LDE. But I don't think he will contribute much this year.

i think the coaching staff was kind of dumb to make tapper inactive vs instead of him or someone else. Tapper was pretty good in the very limited time he had played. But its the little things like this that really makes me hate this coaching staff. Another thing is HEATH. This might be one of the worst tackling safety units in the NFL. I mean what in the world did gurley do to fake him out this bad? Heath got down on both knee's because he suck lmao

The video is perfect. Three receivers are WIDE open. Free 15 yards on the right if Goff wants it. TE gets a free release and it would be an easy 20 yards on a seam pass since Jaylon doesn't get into a deep enough drop. Then no one touches their best offensive player coming out of the backfield nor does Wilson get anywhere close to covering Gurley as he runs past. And finally Heath badly misses a tackle with an angle even Wilcox wouldn't have taken! Keep in mind if Heath makes the tackle it's still a 25 yard gain to a RB. This defensive scheme is plain bad.

Let me guess... Taco will muddle this year then flash a bit next year...then deal with some injuries the following year then have a great year just in time for a new deal. We will then overpay him and he will go back to mediocre and we will stuck with a turd of a contract.
Maybe I'm getting too far ahead...

Taco, Derek Barnett, Charles Harris, and Jordan Willis all haven't done much so far. Carl Lawson, Takk McKinley, and TJ Watt have all been looking great though.
