If you go look at his routes in some of those plays today you can see what the Cowboys like about him. He's a load. But with less weight than last year, he looks a lot more nimble. He's a try-hard, smart player, who obviously works hard. Not great speed, but smart and pretty smooth runner.

I have to say . . . I've always been a bit optimistic about Brown. But most of my hunch about him was doubt, because he's been around for so long.

I'm impressed by how gritty he is. Today, he played well within the system. Did several different things out there that showed he might be more than just the best blocking WR in the league. He's starting to look legit out there.

As someone else pointed out earlier, Noah Brown has more yards so far than Amari Cooper, and as many TDs.

While I'm pointing out how good Noah Brown looked today, it was against a Bengals defense that's not nearly as good as the Bucs.

In fact, the Bucs held the Saints to only 10 points to say, which tells me we may have faced the best defense in the league game 1.

Reminds me of Juju

Not super fast. But can get open

I 100% see Daks limitations. Problem is our OC doesn't. If you think Rush is a better QB than Dak..... Holy Cow. Not even in the same hemisphere. 50% more rushing this game than last despite the run working very well against TB. They were scared of Tom, and played accordingly instead of controlling the game.

It's like having a shoot out with Doc Holiday. Even if he's drunk, he's got two guns (defense and offense) one for each of ya.

We are loaded with maulers. Run the ball.
This would be my argument with the ultra Dak Fans .... stop treating him like a Demi-God and accept his faults, rather than blaming everything and everyone else.
If we accept that he isn't this elite (I don't get or care about gradings or groupings) and we modify our gameplay, maybe, just maybe he'll play in a more steady and measured way.
The problem some of us have (which he'll need to dispel) is that we don't think he has the arm or reads the patterns well enough to put the ball in a favorable position for the receivers....but we sill see

Like so many others here, I've been as slow to accept Noah as a legit WR, but he convinced me to reconsider Sunday. He may not be ideal in several ways but his performance vs. Cincy was convincing. Let's face it, it just takes some players longer to blossom. After all this time, Noah seems to finally have arrived. He was a blessing vs. Cincy. I'll surely bet he's feeling more confident than ever, at this point in time.

Maybe some of that was due to the fact that he's spent more practice time with Rush than w/Dak. With that being the case, he really made the most of it. Let's see if it continues. I'm confident it will, as long as he's paired up with Rush. It might prove interesting to see what he can do once Dak returns to the lineup. Let's be happy he's still a Cowboy. Here's also hoping he'll continue on the path he's on right now. He's finally getting his reps. ;)

For most of those years, I don't think Brown was more than a blocker. Last year he trimmed down and looked like a different player in routes, but wasn't given the snaps or targets to produce much. This year he's getting the targets, and coming through.

The team asked him to slim down. Previously they wanted hom heavier to have bulk blocking.

Noah was ok vs the Bucs imho. This week he showed out, so he's the leading WR for the Cowboys now.

Gallup n Brown on the Outside and CeeDee in the Slot. Lamb looks to be more of a slot guy. I don't know where James Washington fits. Also, when the 2 injured WRs return who's getting cut at WR? Tough decisions ahead.
One Dennis Houston should be the candidate to get cut

Kudos to Noah Brown. He had a great game. However, its a marathon, not a sprint. Let's continue to see.

You trust Kellen Moore to make good football decisions based on all the evidence you've seen so far?
Are you sure it's Kellen's decision to make? Doesn't matter tho, how are they obvious cuts when Tolbert is the one who can't get active? I'm just saying I don't think it's easy.

Brown has earned my respect. He is becoming a legitimate number one and he can block which manny others, including Shultz cannot.

Was that on Simi? I didn't see the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half. So must have been then.

We got away with a few things out there today, to be honest.

That ref crew was the same ref crew that we had in our practices.

So did the Bengals. They were holding all game.

It was wild to see him go from starting out wide to blocking as the up-back on the punt team.

Brown's always been a dirty work guy, but he's getting his moment in the spotlight and he's making it shine. He's playing this year on a $1M contract, that number is about to go up next season.

I been harping on Noah for a couple years....and especially after Michael's injury. I knew if he could just get chance with reps and contribution, he would get confidence. Its great to see!

Not saying hes ready to wear 88....just solid contributor.
