I'm sorry, before the draft, I didn't want Zeke Elliott. I wanted Carson Wentz

I'll take Wentz over the inferior talent Dak Prescott.

Mostly because I understand the game.

We all know how this ends up. I'm right. You forget about it.
"I'm always right!"

Hubris. That's what makes it so funny. And will continue to do so for years.....

I didn't want the RB. If I could go back...i'd not take the RB.

It'd be nice to have Jordan Howard for 4 years 2.6M right?

It's easy to find RB production.

If Zeke stays healthy for a decade and goes into the RoH and Hall....i'll be happy to eat crow then and only then. Because that's the stakes with a RB that high.
You are a moron. It is easy to look back and find the biggest sleeper in the draft just to get a Ramsey/Howard combo. I could argue I would prefer a Zeke/Brown combo. We:hammer:our draft obviously sitting 13-3 with the number one seed and people on here will still complain. Unreal.

Zeke was not my 1st choice but said at the time he was the safest pick in the draft.

I also wanted Wentz but not a the price of giving up our entire draft for one player.

Looks like it turned out well for us in that regard.

If EE had ED's carries (380 to EE's 312) he would have easily broke the rookie record, probably by a huge margin....what is 68 carries, roughly around 3 games worth of touches. What more needs to be said.

Zeke is a monster so all is good.:flagwave:

I'm normally not in the camp to take a RB top 5 if the team has great needs elsewhere AND there are players available at those positions that are worth taking that high.
Always have felt you can get top 5 or even top 2-3 level RB much later than that.
LeVeon Bell, David Johnson, etc,etc,etc,etc...all a round or three later.
And even this year, there will be 3-4 RBs that will be very good to great that will all be taken later than that.

So, right or wrong, I was in the slight trade-down camp who wanted to get 2 or 3 high-end players for 1 with that top 4 pick. Still get a guy like Howard then maybe also get some other very high end guys.
Bosa was also a consideration at 4...as was Zeke. He just wasn't my very top choice.

But Zeke being a total beast makes it just fine. He HAD to be to be taken that high, and he is.

I wanted Paxton Lynch or Connor Cook. Hey, sometimes you don't get what you want and it turns out as a good thing.

Dont you mean the stakes with the 4th overall pick?

I think if Philly kept Andy Reid, Wentz is easily a top 10 QB. That could still happen but Reid would have been better for him.

Look at it down the road.
Dallas still have all of their draft picks with the possibility of having Jaylen Smith and Charles Tapper being added before any 2017 off season acquisitions. Can you say the same about Philly? The Giants will be in salary cap jail soon with that 100 million plus dollar defense they shelled out. Washington still has Kurt Cousins.
