You guys value an individual player's contract over winning? That's weird.Exactly I have said the same things

That was Dak's choice, using it as a judgment tool doesn't make sense.RonnieT24......don't forget market value. No NFL player should pay for less than the market.....IMO, unless they've won enough to have been in SB or Championship games. What many miss.....did Dak make himself the highest paid or did Dallas do that? For 2024, Dak $60M, Burrows $55M, and Trevor Lawrence $55M in annual value. Dak is #8 in total contract value behind the likes of Herbert (who is lauded for potential).
At a minimum, Dak should be on par with Trevor Lawrence contract in annual value. We can argue about Joe Burrows contract, but not Trevor Lawrence money. Any reputable agent knew that. Dallas and the market value did that. Perhaps the extra $5M should be to endure the hate & vitriol from fanbase & media that always moves the goalposts when comparing Dak ("expected to win with less weapons") with the other comparable QBs. And I'd argue, no other QB has as bare a cupboard of weapons, across the board. Josh Allen, the current MVP candidate, until this year was a turnover machine in the playoffs, but get's "credit" for lost games against KC (no playoff fiascos like we've had). Josh Allen may be the next man up to break the bank, though he is under current contract.
It would be my choice too, if $60M was the mark posed to me. It is completely unfathomable that one would suggest another turn down something that they wouldn't necessarily do on a smaller scale but similar as in "my job & pay on the 9-5". I wouldn't and I wish I had salary commensurate to professional athletes.......especially Juan Soto talent & value, of late. That was Dak's choice, using it as a judgment tool doesn't make sense.
I was making a point about Dak...not the rest of the offense. Every single time...almost literally, a conversation or comment specifically about dak involves "but what about everything else".SteveTheCowboy......no I'm not saying anyone doesn't have limitations. How does that equate in my point, since limitations aren't exclusive to just one player.....I would say our QB is apparently expected to play Perfect & Flawless, or this board has a tendency to be borderline stroke victim while failing to view what is described on the field as a TEAM. Mahomes, the benchmark QB.....has played far below accustomed standards all year.
It will get tiresome at some point to keep looking under the rug for another angle to take. But c'mon, I'll be ready. For the sake of not going to the "Dak lover" take....let's say he is "John Doe". As I never had a problem questioning or acknowledging or commenting about Dak's on the field mistakes too, as I do with other players. I think just the mention of Dak causes all kind of trouble/hate and less logic to my point. Let's try that.

My question would be.....how we get to limitations now, when we were only talking about the salary and market value that has already occurred? Hindsight is 20/20 on that part, including injuries.I was making a point about Dak...not the rest of the offense. Talk about "tiresome".
....and Dak is with the largest contract now per year, because he has simply been the last with such contract. The next man up, whoever that is......will certainly reach for the $60M+ per year. We all know QBs get the higher contracts. You missed the point.
Dak's total contract isn't as big because he insists on shorter term deals. It's his choice that other total contracts are bigger. It was a poor choice to use in an argument.
No one suggested that he turn it down. Where do you get this stuff from?
My answer would be your are free to go back through the comment link and see what I was actually replying to in the first place. All good SteveTheCowboy....all good. No malice in anyway.....two fans having fun regardless of agreements or disagreements in points made. All good.My answer would be your are free to go back through the comment link and see what I was actually replying to in the first place. Cool?
Yes that's true and no it isn't funny. Some of the fans on this board think Rush is good and would rather have him as the starter.
So its Rush's fault you make moronic bets, lol - OK. With the way this year has gone from the start- why on earth would you put any money on this team ever, lol- not bright. But of course its Rush's fault, lol. He's not stupid enough to bet on this goofy team, why are you?Cooper Rush can suck it from the back.
Him missing Ferguson on that last throw kept a slip that would've returned 8 grand from cashing.
Well, for one, players would be suspended indefinitely if they bet on games. So that sentiment in itself is dumb.So its Rush's fault you make moronic bets, lol - OK. Oh, yeah I have read a lot of that. one of them even claiming in 2022 we would have been in the superbowl. Some of the fans on this board think Rush is good and would rather have him as the starter.
there is a reason rush makes 2M....nobody in the league wanted him. he is nothing but a filler. there is zero chance any team wins anything with Rush, thus 2M. NFL is littered with them.yea now u know how other people feel bout dak
but rush make $2,000,000 and not $60,000,000
Dak with one leg and 5 missing fingers would be better than Rush. The question is not is Rush comparable to Peak Dak; the question is when Dak comes back from Injury will he still be better than Rush?
Could possibly be the most ridiculous thread ever started in this forum. The fan who started it either disappeared or got permanently banned.Oh, yeah I have read a lot of that. one of them even claiming in 2022 we would have been in the superbowl.
We'll find out next year, I suppose. I'm not convinced, because Dak looked bad before the injury. If he stays immobile in the backfield and keep taking sacks, then he's done for.Dak with one leg and 5 missing fingers would be better than Rush.
and you said Rush comparable to peak Dak!!!! seriously....I hope you have small hands, because you had to reach deep and far to pull that one from your behind
