Im still 100% behind Romo

Didn't Tom Brady throw four picks and choke away a 17 pt lead just last week?

Also tell me that last time Brady dropped consecutive games??

Romo is not fit to tie Brady's shoe lace.

Poor comparison. :banghead:

I'm behind him, I'm behind the coaches. I'm behind anyone who wears the star.

But I'm just going to keep quiet in trying to defend him. It isn't possible anymore, because you can't defend it right now.

I think Tony is a great man, a good QB, but he needs to improve. He wins and loses games.

To steal Hostile's line Romo must "Cowboy up". If he thinks week 1 was bad, he hasn't seen anything yet. The only way to shut everyone up, is win, and win consistently. Until then Tony, everyone else will be right. Cut the mistakes and get the job done.

Today was inexcusable.

True. Brady has a coach that cheats.

So am I. Garrett and Ryan too.
+1 Still behind him. Still believe he will bounce back.

Get Dez (where was he last half?) and Miles back. Some healing in the ribs and he won't release the ball so quick (no rotten tomatoes please :) )

IF he truly dials himself back and stops trying to make plays too hard, he can be fine. That last pick was a perfect example - he needs to learn to throw it away. I thought he had pretty much learned that until this season; he is back to the way he was in 2007.

Love that you posted the thread.

Agree with every single word.

now as regards Red Ball he needs to take a good long look at how he games plans and more than that how he reacts during a game. When your QB goes shaky, you need to protect him and let him regain his poise. Instead he kept calling the same plays that Detroit had adjusted too; put Romo on the spot again. To me that is a failure on him as both Head Coach and play caller.

To me, it's not about believing in him or not. He's the Cowboys quarterback, and they aren't making a change.

So why get all upset about it? I don't have any power to change it.

I blame Garrett more because he's supposed to protect his quarterback via his play-calling, especially if he has shown a propensity to make bonehead turnovers when we're leading or trying to close out a game.

You call running plays, call safe pass plays, then punt the ball and rely on your defense.

Unless we're going to replace Romo, and we're not, then Garrett has to do a better job of taking the game out of Tony Romo's hands when we get a lead, and a comfortable lead. I mean how many more times do we have to see him choke a game away before we're convinced he needs to be better managed?

I'm behind the Cowboys. Not individuals. I root for them as Cowboys, but if they are detrimental to the Cowboys success, then those individuals must go.

Pro-Romo. He was the biggest reason we were up 27-3 to begin with. He was the biggest reason we won the last 2 games before this one. And he was the biggest reason we were in position to beat the Jets.

Our losses have been on him, but so have our wins. We're 2-2 after 4 games. The story of our 2011 season hasn't been written yet. Not even close. As Parcells would say, you guys can get the hearses ready... but I'm not riding in one yet. :)

Romo may be a tough SOB, but he's still an SOB. I'll never question his toughness, but he's not a winner.

Exactly....that is all.

Exactly. Funny though how some can't differentiate between the two. Jerry Jones is prime example number one.

And yet he's won 41 of his 65 starts.

exactly my point. Thats not how most OC's would have called that game up by 24 in the 3rd quarter. Why even put your QB in that position at that time in the game? It wasnt like we were trying to come back, we needed to protect the lead.
