I'm sure this is not what Quincy Carter had in mind 8 years ago

First of all the Omaha Beef?:laugh2: Second, if this guy could have kept clean he prolly could have made a nice living as a backup in the NFL.

Quincy Carter is back in football, playing for the Abilene Ruff Riders of the Indoor Football League. The former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback, who was arrested in February on a DWI charge in Texas, led the squad to its first win of the season Monday over the Odessa Roughnecks. Carter finished 18-of-31 for 235 yards passing and five touchdowns. The 31-year-old Carter earns the league standard of $200 per game, plus a $50 bonus for every win. His next start is Saturday against the Omaha Beef. -- Atlanta Journal-Constitution

awww yes,, whenever you are unhappy with the current status of our Dallas Cowboys just think back to the Quincy Carter handing off the ball to Troy Hambrick days. A truly grim time in our history.

Sadly, that team won more games than our '08 version.

I'll never understand why guys are willing to throw away so much for something as stupid as weed. I agree with those who think weed is no big deal but until the law changes and it is acceptable why would you risk millions?

never really got the fascination with the pic... so the camera caught him in a silly pose... and that's so downright funny - why?

He just looks goofy, granted if members in the media was taking pictures of any of us I'm sure they could freeze frame one moment that is not very flattering

The photo was taken right after he was released in Oxnard. He's supposedly getting ready to head to the airport.

He just sort of has this quizzical look on his face and his sweats are oversized. Later on, we decided that the theme song to "Sanford & Son" would be good background music for the photo.

It's not Ruby shooting Oswald, but it's a photo that captured a memorable moment that ended an era. It's become a tradition to post it when one of these Quincy articles surfaces.

Losing a job isn't funny. But throwing away the chance to be the Cowboys quarterback is sadly comical.

That somehow managed a 10-6 record and a playoff appearance.

Sort of off topic, but does anyone remember Parcells telling Hambrick that he (BP) would die before he let Hambrick fail?
