Imagine now had these fools not extended Dak

If that's all you got......my post is actually discussing RBs that carry a team, alone. Sorry. Put the match or gasoline down.

hes a 1 trick pony thats all hes got

Lamb and Parsons are worth what they want.

They are legitimately that good and deserve market value.

Dak getting market value is a joke and just screwed our team up for years to come.

These idiots brought Dak and McCarthy back after the Packer game last year. Extreme mismanagement.
It doesn't matter what they are worth. No team in the league can afford to pay the highest paid QB, WR and pass rusher all at the same time without sacrificing depth.

I love Dak and Mike

But why would you bring one back and extend the other?

Their ceiling is Elite duo in regular season play and Urine Poor in the playoffs

Neither does Dak, but lets only blame the other 52 players on the active roster. You should say the team never shows up in the playoffs because they don't. Including the con artist faking an injury. It's funny how he comes up with a season ending booboo right after getting caught on camera saying what he really thinks about his team.
He had a good game against Green Bay in 2016 with over 300 yards and 3 TDs but our defense choked with the game on the line. He played well against Russell Wilson. He outplayed Goff in 2018 but our defense got road graded for over 200 yards. He had one of the best games of his career against Tom Brady. He’s had some good playoff games but our defense has been the main problem. If you’re insinuating he’s faking his injury you’re lost.

His 2016 game was pretty mediocre if you take the opponent into account. That was an average game all season when GB was on the road.

Pretty lacking considering 2016 Dallas had probably the best offensive supporting cast in the league.

He was fine against the Rams, but they were also playing soft on defense considering they had the luxury of destroying Dallas on the ground.

He obviously played well in the wins against Seattle and especially Tampa.

While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. What would be the boards feelings at this point knowing we would have all these high draft picks and possibly a new franchise QB?

Would your outlook on the future be the same? Would you be enjoying this season more?

Talk amongst yourselves…
You Dak critics still complaining?

Let me guess, this is what y'all are going to be doing the next 4 years?

You had it your way by Jerry wasting a costly 4th round pick on the BUST called Trey Lance, yet you're upset because Jerry had no choice but to resign a top 10 QB in Dak. If not, Jerry and the Cowboys would have been left with no proven QB and forced to rely on another unproven QB in a rookie drafted QB for 2025.

Talk about doing it your way being an epic failure.

Dak is our QB for the next 4 years and proven so. Deal with it.

Agreed.

This site has been dumbed down badly with Dak haters.

He was facing Aaron Rodgers who carved us up two years earlier in the playoffs. You have to take that into account. Rodgers carved us up again for over 350 yards and 2 TDs. We played from behind most of that game. Dak played a very solid game especially considering he was a rookie facing one of the all time great QBs.

Guess I need to blame Dak for us losing the coin toss, this week.
Why was he even at the game? I though he had surgery? I guess it was not that bad as he said it was.

No doctor or surgeon, but why wouldn't he be allowed at the game, if doctors say it's ok? No weight-bearing....so crutches. You're not bedridden, and chances are.....someone did the driving (meds).
Didn't sleep in a Holiday In last night but been in the medical field for the military....no expert.

Medics were our hero's for damn sure!

See Jared Cook toe tap and Byron Jones looking and our "prevent defense" with just 35 seconds on the clock to begin that final drive.

The cap is a myth! J.K.

Its amazing how people can not comprehend how finances work.

You spend so much money on one thing, gives you less to spend on other things.

Yeah, we might have some more cap space next season and the season after but eventfully it will be a time when their salaries will count more towards the cap.

In 3 seasons we will have so much dead money counting towards the cap, I don't know how they will field a team?

We ain't winning no Super Bowls next season or the year after, sorry to say, so that Dak extension was all for nothing!

Well that’s why I’ve been advocating to let Dak go.

By no means should we give up Lamb and Micah. They’re actually awesome football players unlike Dak who is more Jared Goffy.

The fact that they got a big lead and went prevent defense early would have made it easier to put up stats if anything.

They had a two score lead which was far from safe. Dak was still putting up numbers when we got within a score and tied the game. He played well and it’s obvious you don’t want to acknowledge it.

Don't torture us like this man....with these "What Ifs". Not cool.

This is like walking up to a guy in a wheelchair who lost both his legs in a freak car accident, sitting down next to him, looking him in the eye, and saying:

"Hey....Imagine if you hadn't gotten in that car. Even if you had stopped to tie your shoe for 30 seconds before getting in the car, the timing would have changed and you never would have been in that accident to begin with. Imagine, ANY minor insignificant change in your day up to that point....catch an extra red light, take 10 seconds more to find your keys, take 1 min longer poo-ing, ANY one of those things happen, and your trajectory would have changed, and you'd have your legs right now. Just imagine."

That's pretty cruel dude. Yeah...we would be free Cowboy fans right now...with HOPE, had they not done that. But now, we have 10 years of NOTHING in front of us.
