Hahaha! He's having too much fun rubbing salt into the wound. By the way I hope your enjoying this season. There is absolutely no hope. Not even a glimmer until Trash Prescott is gone. The locker room hates him.
Im doing just fine with the season I knew going in even with dak they weren't winning the title unless a lot of things fell their way. and I'm not a SB or bust fan. I'm smart enough to know football and whats holding the team back..The team does not hate Prescott you do Don't get it twisted. They might all hate jerry though

Personally would feel happier for the future, it sure is disheartening knowing right now sucks, and the future is gonna suck.
Hope Dak gets better but damn that contract stinks even before it was printed out
The future is not going to suck. We are one or two coaches away from being a 12 game winning season again.

Yeah, because he’s the only problem on the team. OMG.

Actually, I see a completely difunctional organization that Dak has carried as best one man can. Football is a team sport more than most. He is not in his prime but not the problem.
Now this is a realistic response. If people only really understood.

While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. What would be the boards feelings at this point knowing we would have all these high draft picks and possibly a new franchise QB?

Would your outlook on the future be the same? Would you be enjoying this season more?

Talk amongst yourselves…
Absolutely. We could finally start the rebuild that is so desperately needed.

He’s had some good teams but they never show up in the playoffs, especially the defense. It was the same problem when Romo was here.
You shouldn't have mentioned Romo......board just doesn't like him for some of the same misfortunes encountered while we had Tony.

All the needs we have plus the most important position?

The future would be even more bleak. We'd look like the Panthers with any rookie QB.
And would become the Lions w/ the best roster in the NFL. How did they get there? Key trades of veterans and sucking for a while.

Bleak outlook = high draft picks. The future would not be more bleak, the future would look glorious. That is, if Jerry n Stephanie let someone else pick the groceries!!!

I said it yesterday but the only way out of this is to build a team like Pittsburgh and make Dak a bus driver. Back to his roots, like his rookie year. Except he can’t run anymore….
And you cannot pay 1 player over 1/5th of the cap and build a team like PITT.

Funny just last season wasn’t it we had like 9 All Pro’s?
And no DT's.

We always aim at the wrong positions.

Get this: In KC's loss to BUFF, that is the first time they have allowed an opponent to score 30 points in 30 games. That's how you win super bowls, not by overpaying WRs and signing your QB to short term huge dollar deals.

Meh. The Dak Spatters will show up and post really dumb stuff no matter what. Best ignored.

That’s why at all cost they have to get a RB that can carry this offense. We know Dak can’t.

Please revist the 2022 and 2023 playoff exits against the 49ers where the defense gave up twenty-three and NINETEEN points respectively and the team fielded about a dozen Pro Bowlers. That’s Dak Prescott looking all doe-eyed and repeatedly throwing off the back foot.
Fair enough......revisit some more.....you'll find a GB punter eating popcorn on the sidelines all game or two Ram RBs trying to get 200 yds each.

How would you have preferred Jerry to handle the QB situation, given he's never drafted a good one in the 1st round, outside of Troy Aikman, with Jimmy orchestrating?
He has been fortunate with two overachievers as our starting QBs.

Just a question or two Aven8...........is there a good NFL team with a "Dak-like" QB that has a RB carry it's team? .....toss in an OL like ours?
Maybe the NYGiants with Saquan .....we saw how that worked out.

Just wondering what your thoughts would be.....all good.

You don't realize it, but you just proved why paying Wak was a terrible decision. We can get similar results from another washed up QB like Wilson or Geno Smith and wayyy cheaper too.
"Wak", so clever.

You can keep crying about the fact that we kept the reigning MVP runner-up with a deal that the rest of the NFL world applauded if you'd like.

The rest of us just want a good team around him.

And no, his contract isn't preventing that. His contract LOWERED his cap hit. Don't let Jerry and Stephen off the hook like that.

Nope. Rarely works that way. And when it does happen, that combo rarely wins playoff games.

They'll applaud because we won't contend paying him that much, you are correct.

Yes it is, although the extreme incompetence of Jerry is, of course, a much bigger factor.
