The first Cowboys game I ever went to at Texas Stadium was in 1991(I'm 36)and lived in Virginia at the time.My boss at the time and later to become one of my best friends in life drove down with me as we spent our Thanksgiving watching the Cowboys beat the Steelers and Michael Irvin shrug off Rod Woodson at the 5 yard line and go in for the clinching score. That was one of many games I have seen at that stadium and many others with my good friend Perry Fowler since.Last fall,my friend Perry succumbed to cancer that was detected very late and ran its course very quickly. For me,watching the Cowboys play wasn't the same last season.I still am a big fan,but just don't feel the same attachment to the current team as I did back then. Some of that surely has to do with the personalities of players then versus now,but most of it has to do with the loss of my friend. When the stadium goes down in a few hours, the last physical link I had between those great teams of the 90s and the great experiences I had with my buddy. We loved that building and the team that played in it.I know it's just the course of nature, but this will be an emotional morning for me and certainly many others.

It sucks. I can't believe we lost our last game (Hamlin).

I choked up a little when I first saw the field at my first and only game there in 1998. I'll never forget my mom saying "You want to see it (the field)?" It was beautiful.

Stayed up all night to ensure I'd be awake when it happens. Just sitting in the dark now with my laptop open and my TV on waiting and watching all the reminiscing. Holds a special place in my heart. Saw my first and so far only Cowboy game there was in 2005 on Thanksgiving which turned out to be the last game my hero Dat Nguyen would ever play in. Boys lost in OT but I got to see a game with my dad and we got to see our favorite player on the field for the last time.

I only got to go one time In Tuna's tenure. We beat Cleveland. Vinnie was the qb.:

The Stadium tour was something I will forever cherish. I caught a pass from my son in the endzone. priceless.

Dat was all over the field when he played at Texas A&M. I remember watching a few games and really wanting us to draft him.

Yeah I got to do that tour too and I remember I had goosebumps when I stepped on that field. Got to run around and kick some FGs (or plop some FGs)

It's a shame that he's leaving us to go back to A&M but if he can go there and gain a bunch of experience and come back as a DC I would love it.

I might have to hold the destruction of Texas Stadium against Kraft for a while. Won't buy Kraft for a week or two.

LOL @ Kraft sponsoring the stadium implosion. I swear, only the Cowboys will get someone to sponsor them to blow up a stadium.

I'm watching the news.

They said public support ran out so they didin't enclose it.

I never knew that.
