Oh, hell yes! I miss Blakes really bad...I used to eat those all the time and I would have them put green chile on them.

I really need to go back to Albuquerque!!

The green chile cheeseburgers are the best. I also really like Smashburger...

Ya know, as a native Texan, I should probably feel guilty for saying this. But, Whataburger's BURGERS SUCK! Always have, apparently always will.

Their meat is virtually tasteless and paper-thin, and there's a reason it is. It's some of the cheapest quality-grade purchased in the fast-food market.

Their bun's taste is WAY too sweet to begin with. Then their halfhearted attempt at toasting them fails miserably, and only enhances the sweetness, while leaving 1/2 the bun soggy.

Now, @ 2am on a sunday morning, their breakfast taquitos rule! But I've NEVER been able to understand the "their hamburger's are the best" crowd. But then, like I always say... Opinions on food, music, beauty etc etc, are ALWAYS subjective.

Agree with this. Maybe it is peoples perceptions based on what they grew up with. I always had a few Whataburger's just around the corner. I never had an In-n-Out until we moved to Cali a few years ago. It wasn't the same ole, same ole, just something new.

Those who grew up around In-n-Out prob can't stand it but love Whataburger, other examples apply.

It is all personal preference. I will agree that In-n-Out's fries aren't that great unless ya have them make them crispy/well-done. Then top those suckers animal style :)

That's why I like In-n-Out, the simplicity of their menu and very reasonable, cheap actually. A family of four at In-n-Out, around $20, at Carls' Jr, will be almost double that and not really worth the price.

I like In & Out, but Five Guys is definitely too greasy. Do any of you have a Smashburger in your area, and if so, what do you think of it? Really good burgers and chicken sandwiches, IMO. Probably the best non-fast food burger places I've been to.

I like Smashburger, well smashchicken. Sandwiches are a little small for the price, but I like them.

In Garland, Texas I prefer Burger Street (fresh, hot, good curly fries) or when pigging out Burger Island (huge burgers, fresh-cut thick fries, and alot of them). And for the record, if a fry is crunchy on the inside, it's undercooked. Mushy means overcooked.

I tried a Mooyah the other day. Pretty good burger, but I like pretty much anything, ha.

I think Mooyah and Five Guys are the exact same thing. Have you had Five Guys?

So, I take it that nobody likes a BigMac? I love them and they are the only hamburger I will eat from McDonalds.

If we are talking about the really bad burger joints, I can occasionally eat a flame-grilled BBQ whopper(like the smokiness) or a Texas-style burger from the golden arches. But, that is on rare occasions.

I can't stand Jack-in-the-Box burgers(only thing good from there is the breakfast jack) or Wendy's for that matter.

Wendy's is my go to for a cheap find it anywhere burger; but even there I end up with spicy chicken 95% of the time.

You don't like the tacos from Jack in the box?

They were good for a starving to student long ago, but now I don't like them. I am hooked on those cool ranch dorito shell tacos from Taco Bell ATM :bang2:

Shoot, JITB tacos are the bomb!

Where else are you gonna get a taco, that's manufactured completely offsite..Flash-frozen, with the lettuce inside...Then deep-fried to order, mystery meat, frozen lettuce et al, 2-for-$2!?

Plus, the greese/oil dripping from the bottom, comes at no-charge!

All that being said, I actually crave those from time-to-time, and have been known to "sandwich" two side-by-side, and eat 4-6 in a sitting. Yum-o!

I crave JITB tacos at 4 a.m. in an altered state of mind usually.

That's when I usually ate them. But, every two or three years, I have to go eat a couple of them.

Seriously though. The nutrition info on JITB's website, says each taco has 193 calories and 11 grams of fat.

I GUARANTEE you, this doesn't take into account the 2 Tbs of oil they absorb, solely because they're being fried, coming DIRECTLY FROM THE FREEZER!!

Also, has anyone EVER seen a taco come of of their bag, that looks REMOTELY like this!?!?
