In Response to the Just find Another Team Argument

You haven't explained why it was ok for you to be a major acehat back in the Romo days, but now it's a TERRIBLE thing to do. Is this a bit of a double standard? Do as I say and not as I once did?

Just leave him alone, he is only here to argue. Let him have his petulant little hissy fit and if you don't respond he will find someone else to argue with. He's very boring.

They are fake fans. Downright miserable so they want everyone else to be miserable as well. Their hate for Jerry Jones, his children, how they run this team, these coaches, players, etc is so extreme, they just come here to spew their anger. Probably are miserable with their own lives as well. Yet, the hate they spew is constant and so extreme, it is like you said... nothing resembling a fan. They have become haters...wishing injury, losses, firings and even bashing the families of said owner, coaches and some players. One would think they would have some ounce of dignity and simply go follow another team out of respect or so they can truly be happy, but no, they are dug in to spew their poison and make everyone and anything associated with the Dallas Cowboys as hateful and miserable as themselves.

You do understand that some of it’s just internet trolling? They are the part of the fanbase that I have a harder time dealing with so I try to just skip all their whiny bs.

They feel like because we had success in the 70s or 90s that it’s a right and it isn’t

The funny part is they actually think they are making a difference .like maybe Jerry comes in here and listens to the crap they spew.

All they do is divide the fanbase further it hasn’t and won’t prompt skelator to do any more than he has

I want a sb as much as the ne t guy but in the end it’s entertainment and I have a choice of whether or not I participate in Dallas cowboys fandom.

I never once cried to the mods back then - I didn't care any more than I do now.

I simply would point out the truth and facts of when Romo was going Hollywood during his early years, and all of you would act as if you were married to Romo and start with your ugly personal attacks and crying to the mods to ban me and a few others who were also unhappy with Romo.

We have 0 sweat equity in this team . It’s fine to be upset and long for the old days but in the end there’s 31 teams every year that go home empty handed

Wish I could prove I was never once a part of those conversations, but unfortunately I can't. I certainly read a lot of those posts, though, yours, theirs, so on and so on. You have labeled me as a Romo fan even though I have never once said I was and nothing I say now can change your mind, so I won't bother trying.

I didn’t think so, but I’m not really sure who is that nuts over it around here. I could be wrong. If I don’t agree with a post I tend to just let it go. I come here as a diversion, certainly not to argue.

As I posted elsewhere, it just means certain things to certain people. Some are more emotionally invested than others.

I agree with you! Whirl made it sound like some esoteric, soul-filled thing with some life-affirming meaning.

And nothing wrong with that. But I think it would bridge a gap between his meaningful Star and why some people aren't happy with the state of things.

I missed the context of convo but I guess it could be mean that for some but if it is in my opinion they take it way to serious in my opinion

November 5 has more significance to me than whether not my beloved cowboys get the SB it has more impact on my life

I thought this place might improve some with papsmears and mountains absence and it has but there still are a bunch of ya that are just miserable or give that appearance

It’s not that serious the only reason I continue to come here is there simply isn’t alot of other decent options out there if there was I most likely would be gone already.

I'm not reading it but I'm saying if you're gonna use the same narrative that you hate the last 28 years and you bring up the same narrative and you basically go copy and paste the same thing in every thread it's the same response from a few people in here maybe 10 or 15 it's nothing but nothing but negativity they hate everything about the team from top to bottom why wouldn't some of our responses go find another team it shouldn't be the response to every negative thing said but there are some people in here that I feel like I'm dealing with Philadelphia eagle fans or I'm dealing with New York giant fans I'm dealing with the enemy the fans from other teams and yet we're supposed to be a group and be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys if you hate everything about them and you have for 20 years then you should no longer be a fan that's my point it's not about saying something negative or saying something that's true it's saying the same damn thing every time that you hate everything about the team you hate everyone's contract you hate everyone's players you hate the front office and ownership from top to bottom you even hate the people that report everybody hate everything about the team why are you a fan yes the question will be raised and I will occasionally say that you should find another team if that's everything about the team 24/7 365 and every damn response is all negative if you're 100% negative you're not a fan if you're 100% against the Cowboys you're not a fan


do you understand now some of us who are real fans can say negative things occasionally we say real things that are broke or wrong with this team but we don't constantly in every thread post the same thing there are people that post the exact same response about the 28 year narrative or about Jerry Jones and the circus they say the same comments in every thread every time yes those people please find another team delete your account and move on your life will be better for it and so will mine

I'm lucky in sense that football (both college and NFL) is the only team sport in which I can watch literally any team as long as it's a good matchup. If I was only interest in cowboys and that's it then it would be way more difficult to keep interest
