Exactly, if you hate everything about the team and are negative about everything. Why bother? Go find another team. I don't get the people complaining about some folks saying it in this instance.
Yeah I never really understood if something bothered you so bad it and then you have to come on and voice to everyone how much you no longer going to follow the Dallas Cowboys and how you couldn't care less and yet you take extra time out of your day every day to complain about the Dallas Cowboys you want to make sure you're heard to me that's the Dallas Cowboys living rent free in their head they're wasting their time the time is the most valuable thing we have and then taking time out of their day says they do care but they didn't care they wouldn't have an account and they wouldn't sign in and they would never speak of the Dallas Cowboys ever again....facts

Nope not changing too bad so sad how about this put me on ignore or Passover don't read my stuff I don't need your attention so if you don't like my stuff just skim right over it... I will use talk to text forever as long as it's available and I will not go back and change anything unless I choose to do so and the more I knew that you guys are gonna get upset and it bothers you and it triggers you I'm gonna do it more run on sentences and rants without any proper anything is coming your way baby coming your way
I wonder? Do you have family? A wife or a child or so. If so, I wonder what they think about you sitting there talking to nobody around, just yourself. They probably just leave you alone thinking you are going insane!

His days are obviously numbered. He is about finished.
"His days are obviously numbered?" Who is your confidential informant? The Ghost of Christmas Future?

I am not seeing anything indicative of this assumption. Roger Goodell and the owners will likely do nothing to Jerry Jones unless he does something far more egregious than threatening sports radio hosts. His children have less than enough autonomy to do anything to their father unless he is medically determined as mentally incompetent.

I would be the first person to celebrate a substitution at general manager. However, simply willing an event into existence never works.

I don't have to explain my fandom to anyone, screw you if you don't like it.
And screw you and anybody else who doesn't like to have bad feedback and negative responses when we see something we don't like isn't that hypocritical to say we're not allowed to be upset when you're ragging on our own team in a way that that's all there is 24 hours a day seven days a week that's all we hear there is a group of people here that all they do is hate on our team as if they're eagles fans it's a lot of them sound like rival fans and in that case they're gonna get negative responses and we don't care how you like it that is why this is an open forum it's in public and everybody's opinions are heard as long as it's within the rules...

If you genuinely love something and you see it down in the dumps, you are going to do and say what needs to be honestly done and said to try to see it flourish to its full potential.

You don't just walk away and say screw it I'm going to find something else. The people saying what needs to be said, I would argue they are the ones you could make a very compelling argument are the highest quality fans because they are not swallowing the company line and embracing failure. They care too much about the Cowboys and the Cowboys brand to do that. The people that are just guzzling whatever Kool-Aid Jerry sells are the fans that are enabling the demise of this franchise. They are the ones that deserve to be called out

Just a thought, but can you imagine Eagles or Giants fans telling their brothers and sisters to find another team for displaying and articulating their disgust of the current state of affairs? Those fan bases group up as a huge collective and voice their displeasure to the world when things are going wrong. They force change when nobody else will. There's no way they accept three decades of mediocrity stemming from the ego of one person, owner or not. Why don't we do that? How is it that Jerry Wayne Jones has found comfort in falling back into his ways when clearly they haven't worked?

JerryS not done a single thing that would be egregious to get him kicked out of the league... And the fact is people are blow everything out of proportion he says most of the time you should just ignore what he says but that alleged interview if you really listen to it slow cut through the mumbling and all the dramatics he never said he was gonna fire anyone his basic perspective was he doesn't owe them anything and he doesn't have to interview with them and he will turn down interviews unless he gets another person besides that and interview him that's not being fired he has a right to choose whether he wants to interview with certain radio or media outlets and if he wants to request to not have that person do the interview he has the absolute right what he said, as usual there wasn't really anything there except for he didn't like some of the questions that he said he wasn't gonna answer and they kept pushing it so he says he doesn't have to do it with them and that he could make it to where he would use someon....se that media outlet for an interview.

Which for our sake would be great if he just turned down all the interviews and stopped talking, I'm on board with that but people take his stuff out of perspective if you just understand what the man was trying to convey it's not that big a deal he has a right to choose who he interviews with and if he wants to blackball a radio station 'cause they don't like them it wouldn't be the first time and it wouldn't be just sports people do this in most entertainment areas actors actresses other places they choose not to do interviews with certain people because they just don't like them they may not like the questions it doesn't matter that is not firing someone that is not pulling power that's saying if you keep pushing i'm just gonna choose not to do this with you anymore.,.

Yeah. All of you would cry to the mods and have me blocked for months and months.
Dude, back then you were literally challenging people to fly to Texas and fist fight you if you disagreed with them.

Your abrasive actions and inability to get along with others got you banned numerous times. Not people "crying to mods"

If you can't accept responsibility for your own actions you're not going to be taken seriously. Here or anywhere else. Just being politely honest. You have a serious persecution complex that doesn't square with reality. Let it go, bro.

Imagine someone being so upset that they getting negative feedback for doing nothing but bashing a team 24/7 that another fan might take we'll see issue with I think some of y'all are not really getting why some of us say those things and we don't do it to every single negative response or every single debate that has truth to it and we're talking about bad plays or bad games or bad things that have been happening but when it's 24/7 365 and there's a small group of 15 or 20 people just in this place that doesn't count other media places that nothing he has ever had positivity to it they are not fans they are literally trolls they come in here and that's all they have to say is negativity and it's literally every post some of it so bad that it looks like somewhere on their PC or phone they have a place to go and they copy it and paste it to every single thread that's open on every single site it's the same thing over and over and at some point real fans are gonna have issues with it and they're gonna say why don't you go find another team if the Dallas Cowboys do nothing but make you unhappy it's like being in a bad relationship if you're in an abusive relationship and you complain to your family and friends and your coworkers 24/7 365 that's all you do all day they're gonna tell you to find another spouse/partner, they're gonna say make a change, it seems very unhealthy to sign up for a place and to go everywhere you possibly can to be negative about what typically you watch sports for to be entertained good battery different and yes everyone has a right to call it as they see it but if that's all they do is be negative you're gonna get that response from me if it's nothing but bashing every player every coach every part of the front office and every aspect of the team and you start wishing for losses you're damn skippy I'm gonna come in here and tell you you should go find another team delete your account and find your way out and don't let us know you're jumping off the wagon just go away quietly..

it's gonna be the same exact response that's what the human condition is it is natural for us to say something like that for those types of fans...

Over the last week, many of us here on the Zone have heard something like this a number of times: “If you don’t like how the Cowboys are run, just go to another team. It’s Jerry’s right as owner to do whatever he wants, and if you don’t like it, leave”. I would like to address this idea.

What is often overlooked in this genre of response to our frustration is that people are not fans of a team for logical reasons. We are not choosing our football team like we would if we were buying a commodity which is the same everywhere you get it. We are emotionally aligned with our team for a number of reasons.

I, and many of us here on the zone, follow the Cowboys because of what they represented in their past. At their best they are quintessentially American. For those of us from North Texas and the surrounding states, the Cowboys are also part of our culture.

My grandmother who lives in the tiny Oklahoma town where Troy Aikman was raised brought me to the Dallas Cowboys. It is quite simply a part of me. I cannot just up and leave and neither can most of us here. The Cowboys are family for many of us and preserve the memories of those long gone who also rode with the star. I’m sure many here have similar stories.

So no, we cannot just go find another team.

What they have become and how this organization is managed is nothing we can be proud to associate with. What it has come to represent in its modern form is disgusting. It is deeply painful to see the franchise we love and its storied history be cheapened and erased by decades of nothing short of a circus directed by a man who cares for nothing but himself.

Do you understand now?
This is some Sanctimonious drivel... :lmao2: :lmao2:

Did you grandmother also tell you about the Whitehouse....??

Find another Team Dude!!

Have you considered that the responses are persistent because nothing has been done about it? We've found success and failures over the years, and I surely have acknowledged the positives, but they don't outweigh the main negative, being Jerral Jones and his piss poor job of running this team. Bro, I've been told to find another team more than once and I'm as die hard a Cowboys fan as you'll meet outside of this forum. Yall are like family to me. I've been involved with this forum since before it was cowboyszone, when I was a young teenager. I've seen folks come and go and I've seen various different takes that didn't always align with the common narrative. I've tried to remain optimistic, but Jones makes it incredibly hard. I'm starting to understand the constant negative output from some posters. They're just fed up, bro. It's the same crap year in and year out, and nothing ever changes. What I'm asking is why do we choose to fight with each other when the main problem gets a free pass? Why haven't we organized and forced a change?
