Well, if it works, that's great! Also if it works, I wish they hadn't told the other 31 teams about it!
He is a classic phony that knows how to PR himself too bad too many fall for his shticksFunny how now, on the verge of needing a new contract, Dak is trying to shine up his PR campaign.
He is so pathetically transparent.
Obviously you never served!!I hope this group of SEALS produce better results than those at Coronado did over the years…..
Dude, I’d cut my ears off, or willingly become a deaf-mute if I had to be close to people as negative as y’all are. The negativity in this kind of crap response is what has turned the Zone into a cesspool of internet feces. To take something of pure positivity and muddy it with the garbage y’all come up with is disgraceful!!!
Another PR stunt by the goodwill ambassador!!!
And sooooooooooooooo FAKE and Pathetic.Funny how now, on the verge of needing a new contract, Dak is trying to shine up his PR campaign.

Exactly... Why would you need your marketing guy at the meeting? Notice how Gallup in the article sells it as "this is what they got after 1 meeting with Dak?", as if the Seals came to be motivated by Dak and not the other way around. This is ultimately about developing "brand image" and being sold as a leader. Gallup should learn a lesson from the Cooper stint here, as no amount pf practing football Dak's backyard could compensate for the "the black Kirk Cousins". They started blaming Cooper for not living up to his money.Funny how now, on the verge of needing a new contract, Dak is trying to shine up his PR campaign.

"Someone like me"? Yeah, okay.
Interesting how whether it's this stunt or when Dak was 'training' with players in his backyard field there always seems to be a reporter around to take photos for documentation.
I think it's cynical to say that a guy who basically squeezed Jerry for his money ...needs to spend free time with gimmicks. I think he is sincere. And I don't think this was misguided as he and the team seemed to crumble mentally in moments last year.Exactly... Why would you need your marketing guy at the meeting? Gallup will end up the next scapegoat for Rayne.
So we've moved on to Dak's having his WRs bonding in his backyard to run routes, not only proving how much more of a leader he is than Romo, but how it would improve the offense to meetings with Navy Seals...

But at the end of the day, I don't think Dak is good enough. It happens. Dak think his will and his faith will carry the day. It's like Witten guaranteeing Romo would win a SB someday...it's wish-thinking. But it's not like Witten didn't dutifully and sincerely work at it! He did ...it just didn't happen.
I think it's both to be honest. It's part PR and they think it would actually help. The problem with this approach is people that want to be Navy Seals are also weeded out. Not everybody can become a Navy Seal. Dak has peaked and no amount of gimmicks like this can improve his processing speed and ability to read defenses at year 8, otherwise he would have already shown these talents for stretches. These types of qualities are genetically there from the beginning.I think it's cynical to say that a guy who basically squeezed Jerry for his money ...needs to spend free time with gimmicks. Good read.
