Except that's not what he did but what others have made it out to be.

Except he did. His original tweet didn't mention the Bleacher Report article or any article at all. Any normal person would assume he was talking to the team. That is not my mistake for misinterpreting something that wasn't there. Dez wrote the tweet and left it vague, that is on him. To come back later after a reporter provides him with cover is weak. Either learn to use Twitter correctly or stay off of it.

Don't let your ****** assumptions become reality w/o a fight. You read into it what you want not dig for intent.

There is no correct way to use twitter, stop being a drama queen.

No drama and no queens. A lot more people read it my way than knew he was referring to an article no one read.

You are an idiot if you think there is no wrong way to use twitter.

Dez needs to really earn the pay. He has but needs to just show up at camp and do his job. As well as let his agent take care of everything.

Does he deserve top 5 money when he did not finish in the top 5? He was 13th in yards and 8th in receptions. I think Dez should get a be paid accordingly and even suggested that he get paid more should he or I should say when he breaks into the top 5 or better.

WR TDs over the past 2 seasons:

1. Dez

Everybody else..

Anybody notice Jordy Nelson signed for 4y/$39m ($9.75 per second) this week?

My thought is he gave them a home-town discount. Dez is worth quite a bit more, however I'd love to see a home-town discount....

Yes he is but in terms or catches and yards no he is not. He is going to get paid should he be paid the 16 mill that Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald are pulling in? NO. Personally I think a contract that put him in around 11 mill with incentives to increase that amount is more than fair. Dallas has to be fiscally responsible more than they have been. That does not mean under paying players but it does mean over paying.

Normal with Cowboys not signing contract extension early in the year.
8 - 10 games in talks will get going. They do not want to close our CAP $ for this year by tying it all up in Bryant early on.

Yes.

Dez was 13th in the league in receiving yards last year. Keep in mind, that was only about 190 yards from #5 AJ Green.

However, he was 2nd among WRs in TDs with 13.
I realize TDs fluctuate more than yards from year to year and are less predictable, but 13 TDs is a ton.

#1 WR in the entire NFL over the past two seasons with 25 TDs. Tied with that TE-wannebepaidlikea-WR guy in NO.

If Dez wants to be a Cowboy for life he has to decide between getting top dollars as a Free Agent or giving a big discount to stay. It's really that simple. Either way he is a very rich man, but I would like to see him ride out the remaining Romo years here in Dallas.

I love dez, but he's not a surefire top 5 receiver to me.

Calvin johnson, aj green, larry fitzgerald, andre johnson, brandon marshall, julio jones and jordy nelson all rate similarly or higher than dez. The only problem I have is that he doesn't have the quickest feet and still hasn't cleaned up his routes. if dez is demanding something like 14m per, I'd rather cut bait. There isn't a single playoff team that paid their top WR that much $. 11- 12m i can see, but if he wants to play in jacksonville for the rest of his career, he can do that.

maybe try and arrange a trade with houston. andre johnson is better suited for romo and witten's age group. And then the cowboys can do a complete rebuild in a couple of years instead of having a disgruntled dez in his prime on a rebuilding team.
