Nothing has changed with the math here at all. The deal will get done, regardless, but of course Dak’s position gets stronger the longer he develops without a long term deal. Just like it gets weaker if he plays poorly. Imagine a stretch like he had during Zeke’s suspension if it came in a contract year. He’d lose money. Betting on yourself and then delivering big like he did last season? He makes money. That’s how it works.

We could all cherry pick whatever we want to make things fit a preferred story line, but most realize that’s not fair or accurate.

Note he also cherry picked on the player situation, taking some Eagle player injuries and suggesting the Eagles used nothing but 3rd team and pick up players in that game.

Zeke takes himself out because he's tired, Pollard then fumbles. Moore takes OUT our two top WR's on 3rd & goal w/the game & division on the line while Garrett does absolutely nothing.

But it's Dak's fault we lost. I know. A healthy Rush would have won the game w/all that debacle coaching.

To me 2019 was a bad showing for him and one reason he does not have a longterm contract until now. It hurt his value.

Especially the New England game and then the loss against Philly were really bad. Just to point out 2.
