The highest QB cap percentage to ever win a Super Bowl was Tom Brady at 12%.

The highest percentage to ever make it to the Super Bowl was Peyton Manning at 18%.

Dak makes 22% of our cap.
Exceeding expectations?

Critical functions of the organization are run in whimsical fashion by a Family that has more money and power than a crooked politician.

Im sure you use that as your talking point. that was only one aspect of the game. The diggs drop was crucial the diggs whiff was crucial. The dak picks were crucial its never one thing pappy but you do you. Of those picks they could have been avoided by
a) dak not throwing it
b) Gallup making a reasonable effort to come back to the ball ( CeeDee pick was similar.)
c) running it on 2nd and 2

You wanna be sick?

Mahomes cap hit next year is 46 million.
Dak's cap hit next year is 49 million.

Mahomes cap hit in 2024 is 44 million.
Dak's cap hit in 2024 is 52 million.
You falied to mention Mahomes' damn near 60 million cap hit in a few years. Dak's contract is 4 years, Mahomes Contract is 10 years. Big contracts, especially qb contracts, are always front-loaded, just as both were. Dak is just in the last years of his deal. You have to pay the piper sometime, and Dak had a relatively short contract, especially with the bogus voidable years.

In a few years that 60 Million will be a bargain.

Dak's contract was and never will be a bargain.

Is it about being a bargain or the percentage of the salary cap? Unless the cap is in excess of 600 million, Mahomes' cap hit percentage is going to be far greater than 12%.

Mahomes is accounting for 22% of the cap next year. We’ll see if this holds up.

Mahomes cap hit was 17% this year. The highest all time for a Super Bowl winning QB by 4%.

I highly doubt it will be higher than 17% in a few years. I think it'll become a bargain more than a curse.

Two years from now, Philly's cap will be 20% Jalen Hurts. They got one more year to get it done.

Both guys will have their cap numbers restructured and reduced.

If something different happened it would be an outlier.

Doing the things that you wanted to do like paying Dak & Zeke is a recipe for mediocrity.

I told you…

The reason that stats doesnt really apply is because this a relatively knew thing paying QB's 20% of your salary cap.

Dak was getting paid 1 million for 4 years and the team was worse. Jerry is the problem.

Going 12-4 and making the playoffs two years in a row isnt mediocrity.

8-8 or 9-8 seasons are mediocrity.

So case and point, you were dead wrong about that.

Now paying Zeke, no argument from me.

And your plan to dump Dak, go with any old rookie QB with Jerry as GM would be the only sure fire way to lead us into either the bottom of the league or certain mediocrity.

Jerry and his inability to build a contender around the QB, and without a top 10 QB, that would signal disaster.
