Interesting QB cap fact I heard this morning

Jerry is a better GM than Dak is a quarterback.

And Dak makes Mahomes money despite having Tannehill talent.

Therein lies the problem.
Actually Dak makes Rogers, Wilson, Murray, Watson, Mahomes, Allen, Carr, Safford money. Soon to be more.

This is just how much starting QBs cost these days.

We will see the record for SB winning QBs cap % continue to climb.

Looking at Mahomes' contract...wow. There is 0 wiggle room in it...very low Base money to convert...his contract is truly limiting.

Dak's...not so much. Can keep pushing the money down the line as long as you want.

There is the difference you are looking for.
every possible excuse for the clown show as usual

I realize this is probably your standard copy and paste reply but it makes no sense in this instance.

Should Dallas pay Dak 50 mill and have no wiggle room? Is that a better strategy with a QB who is not Mahomes?
That is what I am taking from your post...

If that was the case and its debatebale. why did he pay him?

That didn’t even make sense lol. Dak does not make Mahomes money stop it lol. He didn’t even make Kyler Murray money.

The genius gm could’ve got Dak for 35 million a year instead waited to pay more lol.

You know things are pretty bad when Jerry is a better GM than you are at your profession. If I performed like Jerry has for the past 28 years at my job, I would have been out on my *** a long time ago. Signing Dak and Zeke to those ridiculous contracts pretty much sums up everything wrong with Jerry the GM.

Which is why they have to keep restructuring Dak. Cowboys won't go anywhere with Dak and a 50M cap hit.

Matt Stafford was a 10% cap hit when they won the SB. Matt Stafford is an 8.8% cap hit in 2023. Dak is somewhere around 21%. What matters is their cap hit. They don't have to restructure Stafford.

Courtesy of the Ticket...

The highest QB cap percentage to ever win a Super Bowl was Tom Brady at 12%.

The highest percentage to ever make it to the Super Bowl was Peyton Manning at 18%.

Dak makes 22% of our cap.
Well, That's not encouraging !

Yes, but that in is on the FO and how they structure the deal. Cap hit is adjustable.

Uh no. Jerry is one of the worst GMs in the history of the NFL. No GM has a super bowl drought spanning 3 decades. Not even close. They wouldn't be allowed to keep their job failing for that long.
