I could be totally wrong but I debated whether any alcohol Irvin had, before they met in the lobby, was responsible for his body posture. I have seen people, including myself, ever so slightly leaning back when standing relaxed in one spot for a period of time after having a few drinks. Perhaps it was less pelvis pointing and more simple swaying.
That's plausible. Doesn't help him, but plausible. If he's drunk that plays into Marriott's claims and reinforces his statement about not remembering because he had some drinks.

There sure is a lot of guess work in these posts. I didn’t see a lot of laughing. I saw some normal interaction and I saw some of her deliberately moving backward as he comes toward her or reaches out. Just basics.

What no one is talking about and what is weird is that Mike is causing the most trouble for himself. He went on the radio and said he didn’t remember any interactions but after being reminded said there was an interaction but he had been drinking and didn’t know what was said. Today he had a whole story about it where she said she didn’t know football and he started saying watch me on First Take or other shows to learn and that he could be crazy on them etc. Those two stories don’t jive. His attorney needs to stop him from talking.

Yeah that's part of it. That's why I said they reacted to what's happened to people that have worked for them in the past. I get it they have to protect themselves but it looks like they jumped the gun on this one.
They could not put him back on the air with this made public, it would have been a media zoo with over 2,000 of them in town.

I think his radio call in caused their gun to go off. And that "hiding out, we're waiting to see what's going to happen", who was "we"? Irvin and the NFLN?

The NFLN had his complete schedule and knew of the call in Wednesday morning, did they even mention not doing that to Irvin?

There was no way the NFLN could give benefit of the doubt to Irvin because of his past, which has been brought up a lot recently. They had to take the safe way out and get him off the air.

Who cares?

I have heard much worse things said at bars in my day. Didnt cost anyone their job. The world is a little bit to quick on the trigger to cancel people nowadays.
Ah, rock solid logic.

Some guy from Canada watched a video and determined nobody should be offended.

Genius.

And that’s the bigger question. Was this potential inappropriate behavior enough to set the wheels in motion for the hotel .

Unfortunately for Irvin he was probably already on a short rope with NFL and ESPN with any accusation probably the end for him.

De-escalation.

She also retreated from him multiple times, pulled away from him touching her, and waved her arms in a "no" gesture. This assumption about how a woman is supposed to react when dealing with a 6'2" 220 lb former athlete who may be intoxicated is ridiculous.

It could be argued her using her leg to gesture at him speaks to her being uncomfortable. She wasn't about to motion with a limb he could grab again. This idea that her using a leg to point in his direction is normal or a sign of being comfortable is absurd.
Her manager is literally steps away the entire time, and in fact seems unhappy with her even talking to Irvin right of the jump.

Plenty of other guests, a hotel security officer and staff were near by. She could've walked away but instead stayed and talked to him and even shook his hand, resulting in more contact that could've easily been avoided.

As far as the witnesses and their ability to hear the conversation, this is M. Irvin we are talking about (allegedly drunk). Since when has he been known as being a quiet guy when sober?

He is known for being LOUD.

What Irvin’s team stated. The only upset person I saw was the lady’s boss. Maybe the boss likes her and does not want her talking to other guys. I have no clue why he was upset. But if Irvin was threatening the lady could have easily called security and her boss over to the conversation.
Well Irvin's team stated that she never backed up and she did several times. They also said that she approached Irvin but he clearly called to her to start the conversation. "Upset" could have been those "no-no" motions she did with her hands twice. Those weren't jovial motions in a conversation. They looked defensive to me. Irvin's witnesses weren't even paying attention half the time either and were certainly far enough away that they didn't hear anything.

Marriott said Irvin approached her first. They said he did touch her which he did and I don't think those were a big deal. They say security did become trained on them at one point, which they did and caused Mike to back off. They also say that another employee, one of the security guys I think approached Mike and asked to take a pic with him, which he did, then showed Mike the elevators which he did and was in direct conflict to Mike's witnesses that said Mike just went to the elevators after talking to the woman.

But tell me how Irvin's side was more accurate in case I missed a few details.

No we dont. Seen enough there. She approached him and looked fine with the exchange. Guys should not lose jobs because of a crude pickup line.

Enough of this BS.
She didn't approach him. He called to her like that document I gave you said. Look at 35:25 of the video as she walks into the bar. Her head isn't even trained on Irvin but Irvin notices her and goes over to her where she then steps back from where she had been.

Why do you think that security officer was hovering around?

At the same time, if you harass a bartender and she's not having it, then tell her you'll be back for more, don't be surprised if you get kicked out of the bar.

NO but her mannerisms say NOTHING happened. If you can read body language and the way MI and this woman exchanged and left amicably, THEN the male manger started this entire thing PERIOD i see a manager was involved with waitress IMO jealousy I see that manger leering the entire time, like stalker, then engage and make this woman leave they had a talk.. MI and his lawyers are correct this is made up deal and ridiculous we are 5 threads and 70 pages talking about that exchange??
So you think her "no-no" motion with her hands twice was nothing? We know nothing about the manager but we do know that this video account of the encounter more closely matched what Marriott put out there than what Irvin's team was saying. But you can run with the manager theory because that's what Irvin's team is now going to try to play up. I suspect there'll be a whole lot of others with you.

You see what you want to see and that is a 'fact'?

I saw nothing that supports any action being taken.

You like CC and a few others want Irvin to go down and nothing else matters

I think it was over for the hotel but not the NFL. We do not know the background with Irvin and the NFLN and what might have transpired close to this event.

The NFL will be supported by that call in Irvin made outing himself. That, was more than enough to get him off the air. They can say they didn't know which party to believe but once Irvin made it public, their choices were few. Think they're putting him back on the air with all of the owners in town? NFLN execs would have been out of a job and deservedly so.

And since no claim has been made of lost money from the NFLN by Irvin, what was his punishment? Being sent home but he outed himself and broke his own story, the dumbest move in all of this.
Well, the problem with that is Marriott in their filing place the date of Irvin's removal from coverage at 1 day before Irvin's radio interview. So according to that filing, he was removed before the radio interview took place.

and so she shakes his hand and laughs and gives a kick move. lol
You should also note that at that point security had arrived and Mike took notice which made him let up. So if she had been uncomfortable, yes she's more comfortable at that point because she has back-up.

His attorney could stop talking too. He lied to lead off the previous press conference and now he's trying to start up a TMZ love triangle with the manager, the woman, and Mike.

Michael Irvin comes over to INITIATE a conversation with her out of nowhere.

I’m not sure what the lawyer is trying to imply by pointing out her manager claps, AS THIS HAPPENS BEFORE MIKE EVEN GETS THERE. At about the same time, the video or Mike speeds up to initiate conversation, as the lady was walking into the bar, facing the opposite direction of Irvin.

Then she turns towards Mike and starts talking and this is basically when the manager takes a couple steps towards her and waits.

Maybe he was just calling her about some work that needed to be done and he just waited for her to finish the conversation with Mike. All this shows is the manager didn’t interrupt a customer talking to an employee, because it’s the service industry.

He remained at a far enough distance to respect their conversation.

The issue people are not missing is, IT WAS MIKE WHO SPEEDS UP TO HER TO INITIATE CONVERSATION..

I would imagine in 90% of workplaces, IF this incident happened as claimed, it would be handled by bringing both parties in to HR, issuing a warning about the behavior and documenting things, end of story unless something else occurs.

Instead we have a person kicked out of a hotel and told not to
She was talking with her hands which a lot of women do, Michael talks a lot with his hands, she then puts her hands behind her back, if a woman was offended by a comment, they wouldn't do that, her head and body sways back because she's laughing at something he said, the same as michael was leaning over when he was laughing at something said, she then kicks her foot out with her hands behind her back, that shows she's comfortable with the conversation, and when she walks away she turns her head as if she saying something while she was walking away and you can see the guy with the white cap on at the bar looking in the same direction as mike...there's nothing there to show any harassment..If Irvin said something offensive, her stance and conduct would be a lot different...
Agenda much ? Lol. You have no clue what was said and whether harassment occurred, and neither do any of us. And your interpretations don’t make something a fact. As for her reactions, she was an employee at work, and maybe at a bar off of work she would have kicked him in the nuts for what he said. Maybe we need to step back and allow ourselves to consider what we don’t know, and at this point we can’t tell what was said, and either side could be right.
