HIs passer rating is 84.2, 21st in the league.

HIs yards/attempt is 6.72, 28th in the league.

He completes less than 60 percent of his passes, both last year and this year.

His team got blown out 35-0 at home recently, (although they are 7-4.)

HIs 15/7 TD/int is good. And he wins. And I still think he'll be a great quarterback by the end of it. But people have been putting him in the top 5. If RGIII had been blown out at home 35-0, you wouldn't hear the end of it.

Yes. The QB rooks were all overrated from last year. Doesn't mean they won't be great, just means they are not as far along as first perceived.

I don't think Romo would look too good if his top wideout was TY Hilton. I don't know about statistically, but Luck seemed to be doing well until Riggie Wayne tore his ACL. Having Trent Richardson as a RB doesn't help. And I really think Luck, along with Rothliesberger, misses HC/OC Bruce Arians.

Defensively, the Colts don't scare anyone and haven't for a long while. Their offense has to carry the team. Luck has to shoulder the load with Wayne out and that is a lot to ask for a 2nd year QB.

The same is expected by Griffin, yet he gets zero sympathy. Luck doesn't deserve any either.

Well, I guess I don't need to go to Hallmark and buy a sympathy card.

By the way, what does sympathy have to do with the OP's "Is Luck overrated" comment? Sometimes, there are legitimate reasons beyond one's control for lack of performance. Whether people "sympathize" with with those reasons is a different animal altogether and, in my opinion, totally irrelevant.

God, you are a whiner. RG does get quite a lot from people saying he's "not right". That would imply it's his health not his ability. Sympathy at it's finest.

Luck is fine, but that is a team completely devoid of weapons. Not only do they really miss Reggie Wayne, but Dwayne Allen as well. That's two of your top three or four receiving threats. Hard to have a good passing game when that happens.

Long term, I think they are really going to regret giving up that first round pick. Richardson is just simply not that good, and with the holes they have both on defense at the skill positions on offense, they're going to need help.

He sure look a lot better before Wayne was injured. He has little receiving help now.

No I don't think he is overrated, Luck future looks very bright and as colts put better weapons around him his career should really take off.

He's been very erratic this year, might be on his receivers, but if you have a home field advantage that good, a beast back and a solid PED enhanced D, you should be putting up good numbers. Looks like he's trending up now, but has been playing some soft teams. NO and the 9ers coming up, if he plays lights out then he's hitting his stride.

Luck is overrated(right now). He's not even a top 10 QB yet, but you hear people talk as if he's one of the best QBs in the league. I think he has a very bright future, but he hasn't played no where near good as people state.

I know people talk about Romo missing wide open targets, but boy does some of his balls sail on him. I've watched him over the past 2-3 weeks and he misses easy targets, throws that any NFL QB should make. You can say that it's because of Reggie Wayne, but Wayne has nothing to do with over throwing T.Y. Hilton on a deep out route.

Regardless, I'd still take Luck over all the young QBs because he's the best pocket passer, but he's still not a top 10 QB yet.

Not really. Remember when nuts were proclaiming Matthew Stafford a bust? Yeah... He's now a top 7 QB in the league and is only improving.

Andrew Luck is presently a top 12 QB, he's also the most talented QB in the league that's under 30. Who else under 30 would you prefer over Luck? Stafford, probably. Rodgers, maybe, he'll be 30 next week.

It's simply a sophomore slump. Luck, Griffin, Wilson, Kaepernick, etc; are all slumping versus last year. I'd bet on Luck & Wilson adjusting by next year, and I think Griffin will rebound. I've never been a Kaepernick believer.

Not over rated remember just how bad Peyton was the first two years. Now if next year is bad the yes.
