Well I'm not really worried about that happening.

Bledsoe would make it on longevity rather than being a top-flight QB.
He's an above average QB who played a long time.

When I heard Moon was in I almost jumped through the roof! I always predicted that if Bledsoe surpassed 50,000 yards then he was a LOCK for the hall of fame no matter if he goes back to the superbowl again or not.
Now that Moon has made the hall with NEVER going to a S.B. I have NO DOUBT that Bledsoe will be in the hall of fame.
Great job on comparing his stats to Moon's. As long as Bledsoe plays in 2006 and 2007 and stays healthy then he will not doubt pass Moon in yardage and at least tie him if not surpass him in the attempts/completions and TD's.
IF Bledsoe would play for 3 or 4 more seasons he will take down all of the QB's and most likley finish as the NFL's all time leading passer in HISTORY..
Even if 2007 is Bledsoe's last year in the league, This should finally put an END to the debate on whether Bledsoe is a HOF QB.
The answer is without a doubt...
YES....
Bledsoe4MVP said:When I heard the news about Moon I admit I was stunned, I figured he would get in someday, just not in his FIRST try.....but for anybody that claims his induction has 'lowered the bar', that's just foolish. Moon was a great QB just like Studsoe. And the HOF has always catered to great QB's. I guess at this point I hope Drew goes in as a Cowboy!
jterrell said:Seriously Bledsoe has won 2 Conference championship games something Manning hasn't done. Like Manning he has a bazillion yards passing and a lot of TD passes.
Right now I'd say he is about 50/50 because a lot of it is perception. Manning is perceived as far better even though he has yet to come close to winning the biggest games.
I am not a big "race card" guy but you have to give Moon credit for helping break a barrier(mental in the emind of coaches/GMs) at the position.

gbrittain said:Serious question here: Are you related to Bledsoe or something? You have about 33 post at the time I posted this and from what I can tell every single post is about Bledsoe. Your ID is Bledsoe4MVP. Why dont you come clean? Who are you and why are you here?
This isn't dallascowboys.com and he doesn't hate Drew Bledsoe.Bledsoe4MVP said:I'm merely another armchair QB that decided to join the 'fray' here on dallascowboys.com. I'm a cowboys fan, a hardcore football fan in general, and yes a 'Drewpie' by design.
And I'm not here to post just about Godstudsoe, I will definitely offer my expertise and vast football knowledge on other subjects as well when called upon.
For now I'm just glad to be here mixing it up with the Drew haters like you!
Jarv said:Moon won 5 freaking Grey cups in the CFL. That of course was taken into consideration. If he was in the NFL instead during those prime years instead, he would be the ALL TIME passing leader in the NFL.
Bledsoe could not hold Moons jockstrap.
I'll admit it, I've never met a professiol before. I take it that it's some kind of living statue.Bledsoe4MVP said:Studsoe has been making headlines since the day he was drafted, going all the way back to the Bledsoe/Mirer debate and who should be drafted number one. Do you realize that Parcells actually wanted Mirer INSTEAD of Bledstud?
Drew is a very exciting player, everytime he breaks the huddle hes a threat to throw it 50 yards downfield are run a naked bootleg and catch offensive coordinators off guard. He's a gritty field general and the true definition of a consummate professiol.
He is one of the youngest players to reach some very important passing milestones and records. His impact in this league wil not be forgotten when the voters make their decision 5 years from the day studsoe retires.

No, we just hate arrogant jackasses who try and brand us.Bledsoe4MVP said:Excuse me, Dallascowboyszone.com and from the sounds of it a lot of people here hate Drew Bledsoe.
MichaelWinicki said:Hey, if Bledsoe wins a SB he should get very serious consideration for the hall. I fully agree. BUT I'm not betting the house that it's going to get done under the Parcells/Bledsoe watch.
I remember a specific person telling me how "special" this season was going to be... well if being out of the playoffs is "special" I guess it was.
BTW I told that "person" that the Cowboys would be 9-7. Not an incredible stroke of brilliance on my part but certainly more accurate than his prognosis.

I'm sorry, but you are a troll. How long you last will probably depend on how clever you are.Bledsoe4MVP said:I'm not trying to make enemies here and i'm not a 'troll' or instigator. I'm just here to talk football and have solid football discussions. And considering this thread has grown exponentially since i posted it last night, it's more proof that Studsoe has and always will be a 'hot topic' on message boards nationwide.
5 Super Bowls said:Did you hear what Goose had to say. He said that the committee talked about what he had to go through to be a QB. He was a pioneer for black QB's and is now the first in the HOF. I agree that he was a pioneer for african american people, but that is not what the HOF is right? If he were white, he would not be in the HOF. That is just as discriminating as not allowing a player to be voted in because they are black. He was 3-7 in the playoffs. That is when great players shine. He was a very good QB, but not great and certainly not legendary.
So unless Bledsoe wins another ring as a Cowboy, he is not a HOFer.

If you're not trying to make enemies I'd suggest you stop labeling or stereotyping people. It rarely endears people if you know what I mean.
QB is always a hot topic. We've had hundreds of big threads on QBs, not just Bledsoe.
